Barney seemed pretty surprised the audience actually sang along to These Days and Transmission; Barney missed the beginning of Toothache and got Hooky lost in the chorus, that was funny; Barney seemed equally surprised when they came back for the encore and he introduced Atmosphere he got no response from the audience - he seems to forget though many people speak English, they speak manc, I don't think people quite understood what he said just then; they buggered off after the first encore, the lighting person didn't quite know whether to turn on the lights or not, then they came back and Barney tells us they'd forgotten one last song.
Like I said, it was a great gig, but when they played These Days they filled my heart with hope the set wouldn't be that predictable, and I've got to admit them playing TD AND 24 Hours was good enough, but I really wish they'd taken the risk a little more. And really, to play and sing TPK five keys below the original version.... Barney had that cunt dueting BLT with him in Belo Horizonte, he might as well have called ME onstage to do the job for him, I'd happily oblige.... It would NOT have been any worse than it was on C1, I kid yer not.... 
As for the set, I suppose it was better than U2, who changed just 2 songs from one set to the next, and Bono even cracked the same jokes in the exact same places as he'd done the night before; or Kraftwerk, who managed to play AN ENTIRE TOUR without A SINGLE CHANGE IN THE SET.

I cant tell this was 100% sure because I didnt see New Order on stage many times... but it seems that Barney as in great, great mood. He really seems to be enjoying the gig. I think that happen because of the first gig (13th november) that the audience was great as well and Barney from the mid of the show to the end seems to not believe how great the audience was being. I just missed very much "Love Vigilantes" in both shows.... the set list for the monday show was quite the same from Brasilia and Belo Horizonte, but he played She's Lost Control at the encore. Hope they comeback more times to Brasil. Now its up to Rio audience!!!!
The band just seem to have been getting stronger and stronger since the Glastonbury last year. The John Peel gig was just immense and I've not heard of a bum performance since then.
On this improving trend, you guys should be seeing some good gigs.
I can tell you this - El Jarvo doesn't say stuff like that unless he means it - he's the first to say when the band haven't played well.

True, though, the weather's been really shite, on a par with Manchester on a good day....
