I had hoped it would be a one off performance of that, something special, but no of course they had to play it every other gig in 2006 as well.

Are Freebass doing this? Thought they'd lost their lead singer?

Time for Monaco to be reborn, perhaps? :shades:

Damn good question, all we know at the moment is that Hooky's appearing - probably dj'ing?

The after-show party, btw, currently consists of 808 DJ's/Utah Saints/Doves/Mike Joyce (Smiths)/Mani - should be a bit of a laff! :)

Po Na Na, down the side of the BBC on Oxford Road. Charles Street I think.

Remember going in there after G-Percussion quite a few years back. (...was it '97 or '98??) Smoked too much dope, was sick and went home! Not been back since!

Paul Weller confirmed by XFM this morning. And Mcalmont and Butler.

Dropped hints Oasis would be playing as well. I'm sure they wont be...

The Last time, I saw Paul Weller, was 1984 with Style Council in Duesseldorf. But I like eatb much more, too.

Is there really the need for Capitals?

Weller is shit. I saw a lot of crap at V Festival last year, but Weller was by far the worst act of the weekend. Wild Wood my arse.

Its a shame because The Jam were really quite quite good.

Liam, the Jam were probably THE biggest band on the planet ... before you were born. :shades:

Well, it were either them or Madness. Maybe the Specials?

They werent as big as The Police

Anyway, since when has being the biggest band on the planet equated to being the best band on the planet? If that were the case, Take That would ben the best band in the world today!

How. Would. You. Know? :evil4:

In truth, ABBA were probably the biggest band on the planet back then. But you get the picture.

Er, or Bucks Fizz? :uhoh:

Or Spandau. Or Duran.

But, truth is, the Jam were rather fcuking huge. But thanks for reminding us they were quite good! :thumb:

Just a shame Weller is shite on his own.
