Minimum stay 2 nights for most.

I'll look for cheap hotels or B&B's.

I'd heard the Hotel Inspector thought them so good, she wet herself. That's what Jemma told me anyway. :evil4:

Bit sad that I won't be able to make Kingston, but already have tix to see my lad, Lunatic Icebox, performing in Les Miserables.

Will have to try and make one a bit later in the year.

Im Sorry boys but the next gig that i will be able to get to see you play will be the Cover Band Festival in Lancashire. Then i will get to the Manchester gig as well. Not to much traveling involved for both of them so should be quite a night on both ocassions. Reason being that i am still in the Cold Place !!!

Get home in the middle of April ....

Loooking forward to watching you play again.

I'm just having a look at this Kingsmeadow Live place and it says opens at 8pm... The last time I went to Kingston was about 15 years ago so my pub knowledge isn't up to date... Anyone know a good pub between Norbiton station and the venue? I've booked Dad Cabs to take us home, so we will get to see both bands without panicking about trains home..

Brilliant! See you there chick. :thumb:

(Can't help you with your query though, I've only been to Landan twice)

Well, assuming it doesn't snow (and hence disrupt transport!), I should be there! :)

What time will Re:Order and/or The Smythes finish? Last train from Kingston is 11:20pm, so obviously if it's anything after 11pm, I'll need to either find a hotel or grab a taxi! :smoking:

Am going to be in Central London most of Sat and will be drinking in Waxy O'Connor's, Leicester Square, from about 6ish. My bro's birthday, so anyone welcome. Will then make way straight to the venue.

I won't be drinking though!

Well, i might be tempted by half a shandy.

That's normally spelled with an A.

2 points,

  1. I want pictures of the area....Kingston being one of the places detroyed by the martians in 1903, I must see the lie of the land.

  2. What about this Witchwood gig? I might come over for that (Landan is too pricey for a casual trip, and oop nort I can go visit our Jemmy too )

The Witchwood gig is off, because the future of the venue is in serious doubt. We drove past it on our way to Scunthorpe the other week and it was stood on its own, surrounded by land being prepped for office blocks.

They are playing Manchester on Easter Sunday, as part of an all day thing with loads of tribute bands, something which i'll probably give a miss actually. Then 21st April at the university supporting the Clone Roses. No doubt i'll watch Re Order and re treat to the cheap bar. Thats if i've managed to make it back from the Camden Crawl in one piece.

21st of April sounds like a good one for me, I may investigate attending that.

Still want pictures of Kingtson though :D
