That Arches night in Glasgow is advertised as a gay-only night on the Arches website, and doesn't mention Hooky. Great venue, that's where we played with Wilson in September.

If either of you go to that you should both be shot, especially considering there are at least 3 nights of quality LIVE music in Manchester that night.

I ain't got a clue where that venue is?

Unless it's the old White House in Stoke Newington but that's a right spit & sawdust job for locals!

I was looking on the net to find that one as well - no idea. There's a White House in Clapham, but as you say, besides the pokey boozer in Stokey that's about it!

Hope to make the Islington night, cheers!:thumb:

That's the one I thought we were referring to as being in Stokey! Too Arsenal for me!

That's the pub I said. Not the sorta place you expect to find a deejay. More like loads of old birds doing karaoke. And then fighting.

Maybe it's had a refit?!

Er, or maybe not?! :eek3:

Yeah, doesn't sound like the best pub in the world:

"Nothing special but the staff can be very friendly. The clientle are a strange mix of council estate chavs, old guys and local lads. They frequently have to 'clean house' by banning certain regulars but it's perfectly fine for the casual visitor." :eek3:

Also sounds like Dirty South in Lewisham.

Maybe it should be called Dirty North rather than the white house.

According to his Myspace, Hooky will be Djin ' in Cannes on May the 17th. The event will take place at "A beach party" - not a bloc party (that's probably make a difference?)
