Late 1979 in Liverpool. 'I Remember Nothing'. Was sick in the gutter after the show. Got a right b**locking afterwards for going... so did my cousin for taking me. I was just 13, but 6 feet tall and with my cousin, so, what can you do? No one really asked for ID in those days

if a time machine is ever properly invented and works 'properly' ,i am going to go back to that time and see a few of those jd concerts, if not all. but then,i think-how in physical form would i be able to pull that off if i am not supposed to be there and someone notices it somehow.unless..i co-exist in someone else's body...hmm...anyway...you get the picture/idea...

In chrono order I think :

Factory Club Oct 78,

1979 : Factory Club again,Sheffield Limit Club, Leeds Roots Club, Leeds Futurama, Factory Club again!, Leeds Uni, Sheffield Top Rank, Leicester, Eric's Liverpool

1980 : Preston, Lyceum, Derby Ajanta

That's 13. I think I saw them 14 times, so I might be missing another Factory club date.

Sorry for the thread bump...

To all of those who have seen Joy Division live, you should feel very privileged today:) to be honest, I envy you. Seeing Ian in the flesh. I know this guy was a perfect human being like you and me but come on! he was Ian Curtis, one of the greatest and most talented artists in the whole world!:)

I always annoy you in the pub when I've had a few, so whilst I'm sober......what can you remember from the gigs mate?

I remember a few bits and pieces that you mentioned, but my memory is gash, especially after a few shandies ;)
