Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....

My first ever re:order gig sober, and first night out with everyone with me sober also! My what a different world it is - bloody hilarious seeing everyone so totally crumbling around me. I loved it!

The best re:order gig I have ever been to by a long shot - the band were amazing, really, really fantastic and mixed with the best venue I have seen them play in - and of course one of the best atmospheres I have ever experienced at ANY gig - it made for yet another very special night!

Setlist was about 2 hours long - I danced from start to finish in high heels, so am feeling a bit like i've been to the gym for a week! Can't remember the full setlist off the top of my head - but was a complete stormer: Decades, Temptation, Sunrise, Leave Me Alone, BLT, Ceremony, Blue Monday, Here To Stay, True Faith, Vanishing Point, Love Vigilantes, Your Silent Face and so on..........but what really got the place mental was Crystal - carnage everywhere....truly magnificent! Tore the house down!

Special mentions to....Ness (thanks for my gorgeous present), Leggy D (never seen anyone as mangled as young Dave last night - disgrace), Al, Shug, John, Lorraine (she's that gorgeous and lovely when you meet her in person), Mr Nick King, Tim (did you text me at 2am inviting me to your hotel room?), Gordie, Geordie, Wolfram, Don, JG (you know it, Star!), Burt (was so smashed he lost his sense of direction so I had to carry home to my place. He finally appeared this morning looking like death would be a more favourable option than living today!), Simon (The Smyths - one of the nicest blokes I have ever met and fellow gooner - looking forward to drinks at tomorrow's game), Greg and Vinnie, Gerhard - from Ireland, who I picked up off the floor!

Sorry if I have forgotten anyone, erm........oh yeah, The Band. Will - you are such a star, if not mental but i'm glad you're one of my closest mates - even though you smell!

Jim - the magic ingredient of the night, witout a doubt. Lapped it up and again put in a star performance.

Warren - drumming as if his life depended on it, and so modest too.

Thanks for a brilliant night - I know a few said people who will be feeling more than shit today! :evil4:

errrrmmmm...

Not sure how or why I'm in an internet cafe in Barnet; still trying to piece together the latter part of the night. Got some ace pics i dont remember taking; will post later if and when i get home.

Big shout to Wolfram for finding me camera and rescuing it from the mosh pit. Nick King once again, is a fucking star.

And of course to madame Bonz, for the hospitality again. I suspect I might have ended up dead in a ditch, otherwise.

And super hugs to Rosie and Julie :love: for an exceptional effort in coming down from Geordieland, only topped by Gerhard.

As for a set list. Fuck knows. :shrug:

What a great fookin night.

Ma heid is mashed, I think Bonz has summed the night up perfectly and I'm too fucked to try and remember anything......mainly thanks to DoN getting me a TVR. Yeah baby :laugh:

As always an absolute pleasure and great to meet up with all the mad fuckers. Cannae wait to see some snapshots.

Hope everyone who is going to Belgium enjoys another drunken craic :viking:

Nearly forgot, cheers to the bouncers for letting me in free cos of my Vikings tattoo :D

Just about recovered from it. last gig and meet for this year, what a way to finish. top band and great company. great to meet some new faces.

Absolutely superb night, had a fantastic time. Last night was possibly even better though!

Managed to tape both Re: Order sets and videoed most of the first set.

Great to see so many people there, look forward to the next one!

There were a few sore heads the next morning on the train to Brussels, luckily I was one of the sober minority on the Friday night so was able to go for it properly last night!

I had a fantastic night at Hope and Anchor. It was great to see lots of fab people we've met before and brilliant to meet Burt and Snorri for the first time!!! :hi: :bow:

Re order were fantastic. We were very very drunk (had been since lunch time when I spilled wine all over the passengers opposite me on the train on the way down! Waste of good wine!!) and I was very ill the next morning but it was well worth it!

Top work with the piccies Mr Cannonball

Vague memories are coming back, we phoned Rocket Mick to play phone charades. I remember handing out a few of the new badges, but managed to lose about 15 of them whilst jumping around on the dancefloor. There was no ledge above the toilet. I spilt at least two pints over masel in the moshpit. Jim Reilly is better at being Hooky than Hooky himself is. There was banter in between songs and just like a proper gig, I couldnae make out what Barney was saying. Tim was sober. So was Bonz. Dave Legge does more drugs than New Order. There were a couple of mad mancs and a lot of Stone Island hopefully I behaved. Chosen Time was ace. Loadsa Joy Division T-shirts. My trainers are ruined. Weird being at Re Order without Jem and Col. The gig was played in a dungeon. The beer was resonably cheap. Don't drink TVR's. Steve and Gillian are the quiet one's in the band. The Vikings are the bollocks.

Hats off to all those who made it to Belgium.

Cannae wait for the next meet up.

Quality night, as ever.

Starting drinking at midday was not a good idea, however.

Not when me and Gordie were still wandering around Highbury Corner at 2am looking for Welshcake who was in his words 'lost' but we couldn't figure out where. :eek3:

Least he made it to mine eventually - Higgy didn't turn up at all afters!

Anyways, last Re-order give for a while, so it seems.

And if it's the last Re-order gig ever than that's a crying shame because they're so intrinsic to the social fabric of this site. Still, it was truly magnificent whilst it lasted. Thanks for all the memories, gents.

Fantastic Night. Everyone seemed on top form. The band were brilliant, I hope they don't split.

Thanks Bonz for picking me up (although if the truth be known I don't remember that part but at least that explains the cuts on my hand).

Thanks to whoever gave me the Tony Wilson badge also.

It was nice to meet everyone both old and new face and will deffo make the trip again. Hangover from hell the next day but sounds like I wasn't the only one !

What sis says, the band were great as was the company. I literally couldn't string a sentence together by the end of the night though.

It was indeed a great night, and quite a remarkable performance considering that Jim had had so little time to rehearse with the band. Shows you what a good bassist he is that he pulled it all off, every song on the money. There's a few rather better known bassists out there who can't say that about playing New Order songs!

Twas a great night, i think! :scratch: Getting too old for this drinking malarkey. Good to see the usual suspects and meet a few new ones, always a pleasure. Cracking venue and the band were again on top form. Re Ordah!

As ever, fantastic to see such truly brilliant people together again. If only all the world loved New Order........!
