I'll be in London for 24 hours on the 21st and 22nd of this month. What's a Echo and New Order fan to do at night? Any bands or clubs that I must SEE when in London?
Also, if you're up for it - Hotel suggestions there and best way to get from London to Isle of Wight (national rail?)?

Morrissey is playing the roundhouse in Camden that week, all gigs sold out but there will be plenty of touts (or as you say 'scalpers') about.
IOW - train to portsmouth or southsea then the ferry to the island.
As far as hotels...I like the Luna and Simone...
it's on Belgrave Road between the Pimlico and Victoria Stations...It ain't the Ritz, but it's clean, and the people that run the place are fantastic...
if that location doesn't do it for you...or you require something a little nicer, I've also stayed at the Radisson Edwardian Grafton on Tottenham Court Road...it's right at the Warren Street Tube Station...it's also fairly convenient to Euston Station...
