They got a lock on the bog-door in the Audley yet?

I'm tempted, mainly cos it's a Saturday. But cannae be arsed to get a ticket just yet.

Read that Mark Ronson is playing before FBS (mainstage) which means Underworld will either be headlining in a tent or playing the mainstage during the day...

Oh yeah, Morrissey is headlining the Thurs

And again Jay-Z is here also....man, he's doing Roskilde festival as well next to Glastonbury...WTF

MSTRKTFT and Audio Bullys on the bill now. Makes it more interesting.

Underworld's latest album is very strong - this would be a good gig to see.

Anyone bothering with it this weekend then?

I'm in two minds at the mo; was considering Mozzer on the Friday as I have the day off but if there's more of a contingent heading to Fatboy/Underworld on Saturday....

I've got tickets.

Haven't they forecast rain though? :(

(Having said that, I think MSTRKRFT/Underworld are in a tent, no?)

I'm definitely considering it, but yes, they're forecasting rain... :(

Underworld / MSTRKRFT on in a tent though!

What's the ticket situation like?

Doesn't look like they've sold out on their website.

£45 - Saturday could be a goer for me

Can't be arsed with Morrissey; same old same old with him at the moment.

Its not actually.

Irish Blood, English Heart / Ask / First Of The Gang To Die / That's How People Grow Up / Sister, I'm A Poet / All You Need Is Me / I Just Want To See The Boy Happy / What She Said / Billy Budd / The Loop / The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores / Mama Lay Me Softly On The Riverbed / Stretch Out And Wait / I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris / Death Of A Disco Dancer / Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself? / You Say You Don't Love Me / One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell / Vicar In A Tutu / Life Is A Pigsty / How Soon Is Now? // Last Of The Famous International Playboys

Saying that, its the worst setlist they've done in years, so I'm not going on Friday.

And why dont you just buy a ticket on the door on Saturday? Save on the booking fee. You should be able to pick up a cheap one outside as well.

Booking fee's a fiver too. Outrageous.

Got a cheeky pair for 60 notes off ebay - were they really doing 2 for 1 offers earlier though? In that case, it weren't that 'cheeky' after all!

True, and The Whip (first on at 2pm), are in the same tent...

In fact, apart from Fatboy himself (last on, after everyone else), that Sandisk tent (wonder if they're the sponsors? :p - if so, I want a new SD Card!) is the place to stay!

I've been caning that MSTRKFT album all week, it's facking lovely. Forgot just how good it is. Quite looking forward to this now.

Presume they're genuinely 'live' and not deejaying - they did an Essential Mix last month and it's a bit too chaotic.

Audley, early doors then?

Sounds good - I've got to go and buy a ticket first! :)

Is anyone going to bother to go and see The Whip? I've still not managed to go and see them as they're normally (like this "festival") playing 1st thing in the afternoon (i.e. pub/bar drinking time)!

I really enjoyed that! Nice day out. Though, in truth, we should've sat in the pub all day and not wasted hard-earned coin on any tickets. Excellent company all round.

Bands, in the main, were a letdown though.

Whip were easily the best thing we saw all day, so it was show over by 2.30 really.

Audio Bullys way too muddied. MSTRKRT simply deejaying lotsa stuff I didn't recognise.

Complete madness to stick Underworld on in a tiny tent. At least the band had the good sense to see the problems arising and started slowly. If they'd have gone full pelt early doors someone would've got themselves hurt in the crush.

Fat Boy Slim just spent a lot of time wandering the stage in his bare feet posing a lot. He's a bit hard to take seriously.

I reckon I'm gonna start up one of them 'I Spy Book of Bands' where you have to go and tick everyone off. Seen the Audio Bullys today? Tick! Seen the Whip today? Tick! Then we can feel we achieved summat other than just sinking ten pints!

Hearing nothing but good things about the Whip. Wonder if they'll go massive and ponsey?

Isn't that quite a Smiffs-heavy setlist, Liam?

Reckon they'll get back together? He could do with a decent guitarist

The only way Barca could possibly live up to Saturday is if someone poured a whole jug of Pimm's over me this time

Why do you think i didnt go?

I mean its not even the good Smiths songs. Stretch out and Wait? For fucks sake. Ask? Just fucking tedious.

And knowing The Whip reasonably well, I doubt they'll go poncey. ut the again, I doubt they'll get massive either...

It's your turn this time, Nick :evil4: just don't move so fast.

You definitely looked like you've had practice dodging flying drinks in the past :evil4:
