First time i've ever seen a pic of the place since that memorable night, Oct 2nd 1986.Dancefloor and stage are just how i remember them :) 
The Tower's famous revolving stage swung back into action in a shower of glittering fireworks after Edgbaston councillor Deirdre Alden officially opened the ballroom with Liam O'Connor the man behind its revamp.
It was a revolving stage? Shame New Order didn't utalise that facility when they played there

the memories, helping happy mondays unpack their gear, down the pub then back for one of the loudest best gigs ive seen NO do, then down to sleepy Malvern for the next night...great times!! NO at their best!!
