K&TG let me know where & when not sure if jg needs to go into work or not when we arrive.
cant access facebook at work so cant check the event page for it, but have to let them know how many are coming - so far it's ten total. got to be at least one pub doing decent cider near the place.

I'll just head straight to the venue... if I can find it!
Going on the time I leave work I imagine I'll be there around 6:15ish.
If you're going to Soho - i'd suggest the Waxy O'connors just off Leicester Square, good meeting place especially mid-week, and if it isn't cutting it, you can stroll acorss the road to Waxy's Little sister which is calmer.

Wrong side of Soho though - we're up off Berwick Street. George or the Blue Posts, preferably.
Old bastard pubs (like us lot) and not Plastic Paddy outfits. To be sure, to be sure.

Well, apparently our NUT members have voted to strike that day, so fcuk knows how chaotic work'll be, or even if the place'll be open, so I still have no idea what time I'll get in to town...

Think you're jumping the gun a bit, Snorri.
We're talking about tonight (Dave's won some competiton to get a few folk into a small screening of said movie in Soho!).
For next Thursday may as well go with Bonz's original suggestion of WOC's, although I think they might just sell alcohol in the Curzon itself?
That's ok, then... Did think it was bit unusual to have anything appoaching a plan this far before an event... ![]()

That was very good. ![]()
Cheers to Dave for organising! Lovely turn out.
How did David S get his name in the credits though! ![]()

Someone emailed you, I think? Was it Ally who said he did?
(If not, I'm blaming Ally - we told him to email you, so if you didn't get an invite, it's all his fault!
)
Yes, everyone's going again next Thursday. I think.

I'm cunted. But just so slightly coherent.
Best turnout we've had in ages. What a qualidee night. Mark flew in from Edinbro, and Iain flew in from Stockholm. Ok, so both missed the film, but at least they got their rounds in.
I though this was all done in aid of Em's birfday though? Where the fcuk was she?! Tsk tsk.
Stephen was very funny, as usual. And talked about drugs an awful lot (the BCD crew here wouldnae have been happy). Bernard Butler sat amongst us. Vincenzo had so many questions to ask, but fell asleep. And Andy Robinson was in the 'reserved' seats.
As I said, a qualidee night. I love you all! ![]()

I was tempted to go, but i focussed on the fact its a film I've seen quite a few times now, and only last week courtesy of Mr Hibster. Then, about 10 o clock, I remembered its really just about getting drunk, but it was too late to get into town.
Going to be loads of NOOL related drinking this weekend though, even in your absence. Bangface over us lot. Pfffft.

How I was I s'posed to know Nobby, Jert and Jem were gonna be in town for one weekend only!
Really, I'm gutted I'm missing it!
Fantastic night! I got a question in - the one about the cover versions.
Loved the delusional member of the audience who exclaimed "Morrissey is God"!!!!!
