The Whip are a band, playing a gig in Leeds soon.
Can't wait to hear what JT makes of the gig.
I went last night to Manc Academy, they were feckin brilliant. Don't remember ever enjoying a gig that much. It was on the top floor, which surprised me, as it isn't a big room and I assumed they'd be in the huge room.
Sat in Kro pre-gig and we were laughing at a guy attempting to have a conversation on his mobile phone with an apparently deaf person - he turned out to be the keyboard player.
Then, watching the support act, this small guy stood right in front of us, my friend commented that he only looked 10 years old. He was the bassist.
Bumped into Alex the Red (in Jesus sandals and socks!!), John, Sam and Barry.
I love the singer, love the Whip and will definitely consider trekking to Leeds now.
Only cloud over the gig was that Emily Bonz couldn't make it.
The girl from Del Monte gives it 10/10 ![]()

Not any more! Trendy named cocktail bar these days. Used to be a bit of a scary place.

Thats only 'cause they didn't seem to give a stuff about the licensing laws and you could get in once back in town while everywhere else waited for 5.30. Me too ![]()
