I'll do the Doves gig as I'm in the area on that date but cannae hang about til the Sunday. Shame as I would also like to re-aquaint myself with St Ettiene.

How do you spell 'aquaint' by the way? I know the above spelling is wrong.

Up for Doves or St Etienne really (or both).

Don't fink I'm doing Krakow really so makes no odds to me.

I'll try to keep an eye out for the tix tomorrow.

But I'll probably forget, as I always do......

just bought tickets, i'm not a member, but on the doves mailing list, so just quote "heavenly" to book early ...

Doves return to the stage for their first UK gig in nearly 3 years, taking time out from finishing their hugely anticipated fourth album, playing as part of the Forever Heavenly festival, celebrating 18 years of the Heavenly Recordings label. New songs will be played live for the first time, alongside classics and the odd rarity. This is the first time Doves will have performed at the Royal Festival Hall. Support comes from Cherry Ghost and very very special guests.

We're expecting tickets to go very fast on this - as you are on the Doves mailing list, we're giving you an early heads up. Don't hang around though!

Tickets cost £30 from www.southbankcentre.co.uk or by phone on 0871 663 2500. Tickets are onsale now to Southbank Members. If you are not a Southbank Member, please quote the password Heavenly when buying tickets. Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow.

Can't get down there on a Friday night, hopefully they'll do a few dates closer to God's own.

As an aside I was searching for some further info I found this site which has a nice Gretton Bio pulling together lot of snippets,it also has SubSub and Doves bios.

Blimey. The Manics are supporting Doves.

But will only play the six songs they recorded for Heavenly, prior to signing for Sony.

Yeah, I fancy this, if anyone has a spare?

Failing that I'll just have to go and see Kraftjert in Ireland instead!
