In the context of the Movimentos festival weeks of the Autostadt in Wolfsburg the electronic pioneers Kraftwerk will give three concerts in the old combined heat and power station of the Volkswagen factory. The spectacular building, whose silhouette with the four chimneys coins/shapes city and factory site, becomes thereby place music-historically probably of a unique event: Kraftwerk in the Kraftwerk (power station). For nearly four decades Kraftwerk is recognised world-wide as inventors of as different musical style directions as electrical, Industrial, Synth Pop, minimum, Hip Hop and Techno. On Saturday, 25 April 2009, two concerts take place around 20 and at 24 o'clock, on Sunday, 26 April 2009, a further at 20 o'clock. Because in Germany appearances of Kraftwerk are only extremely rarely, the organizers expect a large demand for tickets. For this reason only personalised tickets are sold. The Tickets cost to 40 euros zzgl. 4 euros advance booking fee. Presale starts at 18.12.2008.
