True, I was going to take an extended break - go up on the Thursday to Wales and then stay until Monday! :)

It will mean further time off - luckily, I've got a couple of days holiday - otherwise I'd be up in Telford on the Wednesday... :\ohwell:

My friend dragged me in, he's a DJ! I've never actually bought vinyl from there - usually when I go in, I come out with a poster, a t-shirt or a miniature guitar!

Digital isn't the greatest venue to be honest. It used to be The Zap Club, but the refurbishment didn't manage to keep any of the character of the place.

As well as the placement of a pillar that obscures the whole left side, they've taken the bold step of putting the mixing / lighting desk behind the stage. I saw Joy Formiable & Howling Bells there recently and JF did their first two songs in total darkness because the lighting guy couldn't see the stage and didn't realise.

Oh, and whilst I'm at it, SeeTickets are shite - always comes up with a "Service Busy" error message (obviously don't invest much in their IT infrastructure with their exhorbitant fees), so I nabbed the London ones via TicketWeb! :p

Booked all three "gigs", very ,very excited about these,, digital used to be the zap club and i first saw revenge back there in 1990,, very comfortable club should get a good view,, yup Heaven like the historic link and the Ritz is where i first saw the Order nearly 28 years ago to the day,, and to keep that theme it will be almost exactly 30 years to the day that i first saw joy division (26/or27th oct 79),, now just got to persuade mrs order that it will be good for my health to go.

lets GO!

Hmmmm...just not convinced.

My natural tendency is to get a ticket for the Heaven gig (never having been there before) but somehow I remain somewhat unimpressed by BL so far. I may or may not feel the same about Freebase. It's strange as I was into Electronic, Revenge/Monaco, Other Two heaps. Why does this feel totally different?

Ps I can't actually afford a ticket at the moment too!

Sorry jake, but as the subsequent posts said, Nickos Kingos has got me one. And I'm hoping my ebay bids fail at £22 for two, which shouldnt be a problemo.

I'm sure we'll all be in a local hostelry to be posted up here in next few days before the gig though, if yer up for a jar or three.

Is she fit?

She has been known to run... but somehow I don't think that's what you are asking about...

It's not that one who wanted to nick all my Haribo is it?

Coal Hole

I might make a proper night of it and do a crawl.

The girls are in Gordons, you're in the Coal Hole, Cerysmatic is in some real ale place (Harp).

Old skool. Could be fun!

Chances are I'll be working late though and will just about make it to Heaven. :(

You can still buy them online for box office collection at face value. None of the dates have sold out.

So who is providing the running commentary tonight? We want the set list as it comes!

I've just heard - from a semi-reliable source - that Bad L failed to show up in Brighton tonight. Surely this cannot be true?

It could be bad news, Iain.

There are huge chances that myself will be making it on the NYC solo date... in fact it's fairly close to 99.9% that I'll pay myself a little week-end in the big apple lol.

Probably not the monday though.

Both my husband and I live in the Carolinas (Wife is typing the message), we are both transplants from Southern California. I have found out that more Californians have moved to the Carolina's in the past few years. If we were still in California it would be easier to see you guys in concert. I know Bad Lieutenant is just starting out and playing small venues, I was wondering if you would come to Charlotte, NC and play at Amos' or anyplace in the south east but we would perfer a show in Charlotte :D

If it wasn't for me, my husband would not have the collection of all New Order, Joy Division, Electronic and BAD's cd's. He has never seen any of these bands in concert, but I have seen New Order and Electronic many times. This would be a great opportunity to bring my husband to see Bad looo in concert because he will hear some of New Order material also. JUST THINK ABOUT IT!!

You're not too far from us, Jane- Though Anson County makes Ft. Mill look like a booming metropolis. I'd love to see them in Charlotte, too, but did you see the turnout @Amos's for Happy Mondays & Psychadelic Furs? Don't know if I'd wish that on them...
