Woo I'll be back from my holidays then so will be putting on the Ritz for sure.
Where will we stand though? Stage right doesn't seem, err, right any more.
At the bar, I suppose.
I bumped into the singer in Vinyl Revival on Saturday - what a nice man!
At least we can see what they're like before Paris.
So, who's doing which dates?
I've got a couple more days holiday to use up, but was hoping to visit my dad that weekend... Typical... :\ohwell:

True, I was going to take an extended break - go up on the Thursday to Wales and then stay until Monday! :)
It will mean further time off - luckily, I've got a couple of days holiday - otherwise I'd be up in Telford on the Wednesday... :\ohwell:

What did you do at vinyl revival?
My friend dragged me in, he's a DJ! I've never actually bought vinyl from there - usually when I go in, I come out with a poster, a t-shirt or a miniature guitar!

Jemmie,glad u told me that.It's always shut when I go past,thought it had closed down.I need a new MOVEMENT shirt.......and a baby carrier if I'm coming to the Ritz.
We went at about 4 ish on Sat. They had an Unknown Pleasures Baby Carrier*. Would suit Mini Monts down to the ground.
* Not really
Digital isn't the greatest venue to be honest. It used to be The Zap Club, but the refurbishment didn't manage to keep any of the character of the place.
As well as the placement of a pillar that obscures the whole left side, they've taken the bold step of putting the mixing / lighting desk behind the stage. I saw Joy Formiable & Howling Bells there recently and JF did their first two songs in total darkness because the lighting guy couldn't see the stage and didn't realise.
well i, am gunna do the Ritz gig if can get a ticket, (not that many saddos is there). Fancy a right swill and kip over as well. Bad back for school booked in for Fri![]()
