sounded good to these ears

only had the chance of the briefest of hellos with ATR

grabbed a couple of setlists off the stage but couldnt find ATR et al afterwards will pass on next time

and as an aside: went out to find mrs Garymac who was in block 102 and instead of finding my niece sat with her I was; and I cant convey this with the right amount of sheer gobsmackedness, amazed to find Mother Mac sat with her!!

yep me Mam who is a very sprightly 70 something was at her first kinda rock gig, whatsmore she knew the last two songs and said to the Mrs, "New Order do this don't they"

I was pretty chuffed to be honest

she thought the main "turn" were pretty good too

me Mam should be a shoo in for oldest viking methinks

Great gig!! Just to add to Gaz' post,BLT....the proper version ...non of this acoustic stuff!!! Me? I angled towards a large very statueque German on these boards and danced the whole gig. Big shout out to Jemmie,Sandra,Leggy D,Jert,PHD,Alex,Liam (thanks for pint mate and a big HELLO from me.Julie and Danny),Nick,Minxie and friend,ROCKET mick AND FrienND!Oh and Mr Everyone Everywhere (good meetin ya mate!)

The will be photos promise.PSB was as brilliant as ever..it was same gig as Summer but they replaced LOVE COMES QUICKLY with Madness' MY GIRL and their No 40 chart entry today IT DOESN'T OFTEN SNOW AT CHRISTMAS! Had to change title because it did.

Anyway a recap...thank you to my loely Julie for buying the ticket off E-Bay for my Burpday.PSB and New Order in one night!!

Great gig indeed! Quite a good turn out as Monty mentioned. We stumbled upon PHD accidentally on the way in. Nice to meet Mike for the first time, shame he didn't have standing tickets.

The PSB fans were a bit bewildered by the Viking antics! There's some miserable feckers at these gigs. I'm not sure they've ever seen moshing before.

BL put in another great performance. Joined Nobby in the moshpit for a few. Had to retreat to the sides after the first few songs as I was exhausted! PSB were very good again too. Bit disappointed that they didn't do 'Love Comes Quickly' and even more so when I realised they wouldn't be doing an Electronic song.

Special mentions to Jert and Karl for the entertainment. I've seen Jert in some states but this one was particularly special

Star of the night (again) was Canada for:

• smoking
• being told off for getting on Nobby's shoulders
• doing the Worm on the MEN floor

Oh, and I think Nick King might have converted me to being a Veggie
