Ah, this is what the Facebook page says:
"Already acts including The Fall, Peter Hook + free bass Shaun Ryder + Bez(Happy Mondays),Tim Burgess(The Charlatans) are on the list of great acts being lined up to appear at this unique event... "
It must be nice being right there in the thick of it all. Do you actually go to all of these??? A job, a family and out all the time

Don't do much gigging these days,apart from the ones I do with The Divers,but I couldn't miss this one,and especially one 5 minutes walk away from home!!

I just got a message over facebook about some half arsed report in the Salford Advertiser. Anyway, it says...
It is hoped the Happy Mondays, Peter Hook, The Fall and The Charlatans will perform at Buile Hill Park in September.
So nothing is confirmed band wise...
Ed is hoping to get the plans rubber-stamped by the council in the next few weeks. If he is given the go-ahead the concert would take place the day after the Proms in the Park event in September.
... nor is the actual 'festival' confirmed!
I'm quite willing to say I doubt this will happen.
