Bad Lieu Sheffield review cos just got back

Right plebs, Still 1/2 cut so excuse the grammar n spelligns lingo shit. We took 5 darlo pikeys down n 2hr drive, Say bout 400/500 people there. Ne familiar faces but ATR n Nobby (doing 4 shows!!) Lots between song banter, but tooka abit to fire up i thougth. This is home,Summer days,REGRET,Sink n Swim,Shine like stars, Running out a luck,Poisonous intentions,Crystal,Twist of fate,Tighten UP, Out Control/Temptation. Had slagged Barney off saying 'I hope yr still gonna play ceremony just youve shuvd in Regret' but alas he asked what we wanted to hear in encore from Atmosphere Transmission n Love Will. But got some similar types to shuot Ceremony n to my joy he fucking played it (even tho he said they hadnt rehersaled it). Played Transmish n LWTUSapart afetr ceremony. Usual crew there in Liddle, Lyons, Robinson Tin-tin, ne sign DBarton. Right im off to bed for 4n1/2 hrs sleep otherwise ill turn into Shug!!

shit just remembersd Barney said summat funny at beginning, a Anti-Hooky quip..."This guitar aint made of Hac floor wood" which if you know what im on about is funny. Also "Thankyou, cause We need you just as much as you need us". Ahh bless em'

I'm confused. ATR text me yesterday offering me a guest list spot for Gabrielle's Wish. He didn't mention BL! The 120 mile round trip drive put me off anyway.

What a great night. Right at the front in my faithful True Faith t -shirt. The band seemed very relaxed and lots of banter between tracks. Saw them in Manchester in October but for me this was a much more confident band. Set was mixed up better than Manchester, it was not in 2 halves. Different tracks played were Ceremony which was a great mosh pit and Regret. It was also a great venue, goo sound. At the start of the set only about 100 people seemed to be there but when I turned round again it was packed. Probably 300-400 people there so it was great to seem them in an intimate venue. Bought a signed copy of NCAT so as I bought the box set that about £70 on that album! Still its worth it to remember nights like these. Barny ended the night with many hand shskes including my own fair hand, should know better at 37. I thinj the band enjoyed the ig as much as the fans. Strange on e of the things Barney and Hooky fell out about was touring as he seems to be enjoying playing live more now than for years. Wish I could catch them again on this mini tour. Never mind unknwown pleasures next with Hooky in my own City of Derby....

I saw you too, your account is spot on, I dropped a mate off tonight at Manchester Airport and bumped into Bernard, Phil and Jake on there way back from Glasgow. They were still having some great banter while they waited for Jake to finish his cig, before thet got into their car, which was chaufer driven by the way!!
