...why not check out Delphic. They've rescheduled their Icelandic Blowjob dates for June. So far, one show in New York and two in California. I just bought my San Francisco tickets for $10.00 each.

The San Francisco gig was superb. Tiny venue, good sound and excellent performance. The support bands were awful but Delphic was worth the wait.

Now if only Bad Lieutenant would be kind enough to show their faces...

The album is pretty decent, not sure if many NO/BL fans would be into it though

I like the album but was more impressed by the gig. I've seen many electronic acts perform live over the years and these guys definitely know what they're doing.

depends which Delphic you saw. I saw them twice recently, a month apart. First time they were a bit like NO, in terms of a rock band playing dance music, and interchanging jobs, all bashing stuff when they were required to:

second time, they had turned into a big potentially stadium filling Kraftwerk style techno monster:

Both great in their own way, but noticably different. I just wish i was more prepared and off me tits for the second gig, cos those lights began to hurt.

Short but effective set from the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury. This was an afternoon performance so retinal damage from mood lighting not a factor.

I saw them supporting someone else over a year ago and I thought the were shit. Pretty much liek the first example you gave but everything just sounded like a copy of NO doing Blue Monday live. It left me unimpressed so I never followed up my initial interest in them.
