After Jez Kerr's solo ramblings they playing a new jazz-funk gaff (Hootchie Coocthie)in Toon' looks jolly good, as they always get a good turn out up here. (Sat 24th...im sorted already) then Nov @ Manc Band on The Wall(11th if i remember..i know it doesnt clash with The Light gigs anyway). Looks canny as some 33&1/3 anniversary with 2 sets n special guests... Topping, Connell,Tilson eh anyone..Sounds very tempting

Me and JG were gonna do Hootchie Coocthie, but in the cold light of day, travelling 4hrs each way on the choo-choo (seems there's no cheap flights from Luton or Stansted to Newcy these days - the Easyjet service stopped earlier this year from Stansted) it all seemed a bit too much hassle.
Si Sweeney is flying up though, but he's ex-BA so gets a good deal on their flights! 
I've bought a ticket for Manc although November's a bit mental at work. Still hope to make it mind.

Toon gig was classy du, (with some nice skirt i must say)nice altered set-list for a change with The Big E back in. Literally 3m away from group, who were only 1 Foot off the ground, closest i'll ever get. It honestly felt like they were playing in me front room. Still tight as fcuk these lot.

Gutted they've added a Saturday in Manc now - I've already booked trains for the Friday so cannae make the additional date.
Would love to Al, but seeing SWRyder the night before (Thurs) on his re-arranged solo tour. The Twang fuck off n his venues tumble in size. Terribly sad state of affairs. Really pissed off as have a ticket for the Fri, but 2 gigs on the trot will piss our lass off big style. Plus im there the next wk for Hookys Salford do.
Unfortunately even though SWR is shite i have to keep going back to him cause of the fun times i had. Fcuk i even went to see Big Arm once...

nah...soz, already flogged to a mate who always leave it till last minute. I would have no bones about turning up at BOTW n buying a spare. Your bound to get one P

I'm seriously considering it! Though I'm at the Smashing Pumpkins the night before!
Well, now going on the original date (managed to get the day off), so only up for the Friday one now. :)
