The whole of DLR (Docklands Light Railway) will not be running this weekend.
There are alternative ways to get there.
C2C operates trains from Fenchurch Street through Limehouse and into Essex.
Bus Troxy is served by:
15 – Paddington Station to Blackwall Station 115 – Aldgate to East Ham 135 – Old Street to Crossharbour D3 – Bethnal Green to Crossharbour 395 – Limehouse to Surrey Quays N15 –Paddington to Romford N50 – Haymarket to Gallions Reach

Anyhow, the initial focus is on the George, isn't it. Which is effectively en route to the Troxy from any of the above stations.
And while we're at it, the DLR might not be running but there's a replacement bus service for that anyway. 
me and my other half are gonna get a taxi. He won't use the underground and it will be less hassle. I'm so excited, roll on Saturday

Re-Order have said 5pm start, I think, on their FB page?
Should imagine they'll be on 6'ish?
I'd rather see them go on later than that but I suppose some people might genuinely want to see Jake's set, the nutters?

And, let's face it, there's actually not much point going any further than the George really... After the lord Mayor's show and all that...

And will need plenty of time to wait for complicated bus connections in order to get to the venue... 
Is it just Re: Order doing one set or will it be a game of two halves a la Islington a couple of years ago?

Yes, Jake and his band were ace at the FoM-Festival.
Do check a map, you may be surprised how close things are to each other in East London.
Another insider tip already is using the new Overground Line (orange) - if you are using a TFL map from before 2011, make sure you pick a current one - there have been lots of additions to the network this year - people coming in to KGX could zip up to HIGHBURY & ISLINGTON and change on the Overground to cruise down to SHADWELL(this is also possible on the JUBILEE Line via CANADA WATER) - only a 5-10 min walk to the Troxy.

This is true. I have childcare stuff to do until 7pm so it would always have been difficult. I hope it goes well.

I think I'll be in a Flaming Lips "Christmas On Mars" or "UFO's At The Zoo" shirt. I'll be the balding one in glasses, so that'll narrow me down to looking like everyone else. See you there tommorow...

Just avoid Highbury anytime before 3pm and anytime after 4:45/5'ish... Buses knackered near there, so trains will probably be packed before/after Arsenal vs Everton! :)
It's only 2 miles from the city, have a beer there and get a cab.loads of nice boozers around London bridge/borough market but beware its millwall v Cardiff that day so police may shut a few around the station area. Not a lot around the venue , to be honest it's a bit of a shithole !!!
