BLT and TF seemed to get the spark of life tonight. I'm normally eyeing off the can at this point in the set but I was holding it back tonight.

Best live TPK version I've seen too. Here to Stay was a welcome curveball although I suspect the crowd would've been all over Round & Round. Sydney maybe?

Overall I thought the band were in good spirits, the playing was tight and the crowd responsive. Seemed a more upbeat vibe than the Get Ready tour.

A few cracks at Hooky's expense as you'd expect. At one point Barney looks at the video backdrop and says "That was the Hacienda. Oh, am I allowed to even say that word any more?".

Here to Stay swapped for Love Vigilantes is a good trade to me. Can't think of another track they've not played live before (this doesn't count) that I'd rather hear.

Interesting that HTStay introduced... Still think of that as a Bad Loot track with em nailing it couple yrs ago. I do hope more 'old' tracks are re-introduced & rejigged about. It makes it much more fun deciding when to go for a piss n pint

Bad Loo did the other Chems collab - Out Of Control at their last London gig, and a quick scroll through setlist.fm seems to show that Bad Loo did that one frequently, but no sign of Here To Stay as far as I can see. Playing there 1st Aussie shows in 10 years and playing a larger venue this time gave the band and crowd more space to move,dance and enjoy the night. While the setlist looks the same, for a band that have only toured here twice in 25 years,most songs were fresh to the ear. I liked how the songs have been tweeked abit. i thought the old floorboards were going to give away during 'Temptaton'. Bernard even joked they had brought the rain with them,he may be right because the day after the sun is shining.Touched by the hand of god ?....

While there's been plenty said about Joy Division over the last few years,tonight was a reminder of the greatness of New Order.

Just bumped into Gillian,Steve and Phil at Melbourne airport. Told Gillian it was great to see her back onstage, got a big smile and a lovely "Thankyou" Very chuffed at the moment. God gig last night, pub shut. Did you smell it? Brisbane and Sydney to go.

Such a great gig. Everyone one of them was loving it. I was right in front of Phil on the fence and I swear he was laughing at me. Though his drum pad blocked Steve for most of the night haha.

Here To Stay was a total surprise. First time live as others said. Something with the bass or amps fucked up in True Faith and the whole floor was rumbling.

The Perfect Kiss was crazy. Everyone knew it was coming and the outro was killing people with sheer brilliance. Really like the changes they make in guitar songs. 586 was a little different. Very fun to watch Barney, Phil and Tom jam and dance as they all geetar up a storm. Blue Monday absolutely rocked out with its cock out, with Barney coming back on stage ten seconds before the vocals start. (swear Phil was getting nervous).

Loved the bit where Temptation started, the crowd roars and Barney quips 'You've all been on YouTube!'

Going to get in the mosh pit for Future so I can dance more. Fantastic night.
