You know you're gonna upset 90% of your audience Michael, as you haven't listed anything off Technique. ![]()

Ideally: LMA
Realistically: TLU
Randomly: TBTHOG but only if they agree to dress up like in the video... ![]()

Not a big fan of the sanitized recorded version, but it takes on a life of it's own and is an absolute fucking barnstormer when played live, like when they smash it here.......fingers crossed indeedy!..

Sorry but Hurt will never make it out of first gear without Hooky.
Great track but need to choose something they can actually play.
Good point and well presented,Um Die lee,Um die Lah.
It always comes back to the gaping chasm of he whose name we shall not speak, the forever omnipresent Macbeth strikes again! ![]()

And of course the sad thing is Hooky isn't playing bass much anymore in his current project. The bass is going to waste!

BASS BIN :)
an updated Hurt, much like the 586 rehash.
hated Confusion from 98' shows.
This time of night would be nice as well![]()

586 was not tough to redo with the current lineup since there wasn't much of a bass line in it anyway. Hurt has both a synth bass plus Hooky's part; don't see them pulling that off with Chapman on bass. Same goes for This Time of Night (favorite version BBC 1984 BTW); the new bass player just isn't versatile enough to handle that.
The Village!!! You can hear me shout this on the Swansea Mayfair 85 bootleg,i don't think my voice had even broken then![]()

Any musician could tell you that Hooky's bass lines are brilliant sounding but not terribly difficult to play.
Not a criticism, as I value melody over virtuosity.
EGG or TBTHOG which would fit in nicely alongside 586 if its like the newer '98 arrangement.
