They played 'Love will tear us apart' 3rd song in the set and finished with 'Temptation' after 'Blue Monday'.

That's quite a radical departure for them.

Played instead of Ceremony then, or both still got played?

What a great gig. Atmosphere was electric, with the crowd really the whole performance.

Crystal Ceremony Love Will Tear Us Apart Hurt Everything's Gone Green Vanishing Point Thieves Like Us World In Motion Blue Monday

Absolutely rip-roaring!

Well, at least the kids liked LWTUA and Blue Monday. Also, really enjoy what Tom does with Blue Monday. If they're gonna play it seven kajillion times, it's good to mix it up a little.

Radelaide set list bets anyone?

They played FMF there as well after Melbourne.

It's just the sorta place they'd depart from the script, mix it right up and drop something like "When I'm With You"...

Radelaide..... ....out there for Big Day Out in '02, couldnt believe such a world famous city was well, like a market town.

Me and Gordie stood in the bar, chatting with some local youths who for no reason started slagging off all ethnic groups in Oz??, then stage front and right in front of us there's a bloke in drag with his mate in full black leather & hood gimp outfit on a collar & chain. Yep, that's Radelaide. Can't remember much about the gig.

I had an amazing time at Festival Hall, a few beers but remember everything about the whole night. Different story last Sunday though, spent the whole day drinking cider in the VIP area and can hardly remember a thing apart from LWTUA being played early and meeting the legendary Norbert and his plastic microphone afterwards! Anyone know how I can find him on facebook by the way, he said he would put the pics up, he might have told me his surname but I can't remember.

Why does my signature bit look all messed up by the way, anybody any ideas? It looks fine when I edit it but comes out all fucked up when I post.

Johnny, the Radelaidians would be thrilled with your pre-conceptions of their hovel as a world famous city!

The rest of your story could be any bar there, any night.

Glad you had fun!
