At InMusic, replacing The Cranberries.

LINKITYLINK

Just announced, will add details later, have an unrelated hangover.

It's probably the 29th, they're in Prague on 30th and 28th is the zeroeth day, Cranberries definitely weren't scheduled then.

Three-day tickets at 340 HRK. Daily tickets are available on the day, but at only 40 HRK off the festival ticket price, so it's not really worth the hassle and perhaps risk.

Ticketing linky

A mate may still be selling a ticket at early price, 290 HRK, shout if interested.

Edit: gone, your loss.

In the highly unlikely case that anyone her cares starting time is 23.15, so it should be one of longer sets, and the weather forecast says no rain.

22.15 for you [:)]

It is indeed CET, one hour in front of the UK. The announced slot is 23.15 - 0.45, yesterday the schedule didn't deviate from the announced. So it's 22.15 - 23.45 UK. Don't know about the quality of the webcast, this is the first year it airs and I haven't caught it yesterday.

Temptation! I quite like the new Lou Reed intro.

They've sucked the life out of it now, and wait till the cringeworthy clapping starts!! Hideous version IMHO.

One thing I wish they'd do is put some money into visuals that actually go with the songs...the random You-Tube hopping is annoying. It would be great to see, say, the sleeves come to life. Hell, even static projections of the sleeves would be better.

Just found out about this livestream a bit too late...got to hear the end of LWTUA and Temptation. Nice surprise after a long working day!

The clapping is very cool. Bernard knows, how to entertain the crowd these days. [:d]

I quite liked the visuals at Troxy/Brixton, but yes bringing the sleeves to life would be a nice idea. When the "Singles" comp came out a few years back, I remember a little link being added to NOOL courtesy of Warners - the leaf logo from the compilation falling gracefully. I can't find it now alas...

The 2manydj's boys have of course being doing this for several years now. i was lucky enough to catch their set at the Hop Farm in 2009 without knowing the visual treat they had in store for us.

Their individual Radio Soulwax "Programmes" are worth checking out here: http://www.2manydjs.com/radio/ (press the pay arrow at the bottom left of the screen to watch the current programme). Or else ignore the schedule and get it as an app for Iphone or android. (incidentally my android phone wasn't compatible but there is an "unofficial RSWX" app which is actually the same and intended for those who cant use the official one). You can then pick which of their programmes you want to watch when you want. Here's some footage from their 09 tour. i like the bit around 4.20 when the GnR album cover comes to life

the Clash Rock the Casbah stuff is nice here too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9kzRVGGiKE&feature=related Oh this footage might be slightly better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2gqkAls5dA&feature=relmfu and one more - from that Hop Farm set, anyone recognise THIS one?

They were just so-so really. Got to the front easily and spent most of the time looking after Igor the smoking Ian Curtis on a t-shirt a lad had placed on the barrier as a banner. Nice muscular chest (lad not Igor/Ian). Gillian hadn't smiled once. The new guy tried to strut about like Hooky. Temptation was moved to encore which is a good idea. Isolation was terrible. 586 was good, higlight for me. The audience reacted best to BM and LWTUA. All in all much weaker than when I last saw them (Turin '05). There are going to be rave reviews though and every single one is going to mention how they rose from the ashes of Joy Division and how they changed music forever.

And there. is. no. excuse. for. clapping. None. Be glad they're not doing Atmosphere this time around - lighters would've been up probably.

why is everyone in a flap over the clapping ?! they're more professional these days, perhaps that includes getting the crowd to clap. Who cares? You don't have to partake if you don't want to.

by the way, did anyone capture this? I forgot all about it on Friday and now it's gone of course [:(]

It's a bit naff, innit. Things like that should at least appear to be 'spontaneous'. This is pre-planned.

Nice to see Temptation get moved to the encore though. Radical setlist change!

Tried but I can't find a download of the live stream - everyone I know and was remotely interested was at the festival. There is something on a torrent site (probably on several ones) but I don't normally do torrents and I don't know if it's the live stream or audio or video or some nonsense and a virus. Sorry.

Has the download ever surfaced? I'm still making enquiries, noticed that most of the comments on Youtube were in Polish, perhaps that's the place to look.
