It's a miracle the NOOL homepage has been updated so promptly! I like it when they look miserable. Makes me feel happy for some reason... Too bad we can't see Steve looking miserable in that shot too.

I live here in Las Vegas, but haven't been to a show at the Cosmo yet. From what I understand, it's a decent venue for a show. Don't let the name (Boulevard Pool) fool you, it's not going to be the band playing in front of a bunch of people standing around in a pool, it's a legit venue. The Cosmo, since it opened, has been infamous for booking acts that have been a bit off the Vegas norm, especially on the Strip.

On another note, let me just say that I am so jacked about this show, it's driving me nuts. I grew up in the U.S. Midwest in the 80's. I liked a lot of music that simply wasn't played on the radio too often in those parts, and New Order wasn't exactly itching to play in Iowa while I was younger.

So to be here in Vegas (for probably 2-4 years only), and have this show fall into my lap...well...I'll put it this way. We have a trip to Hawaii planned for late March, and I'm more excited about seeing New Order on April 11th.

This concert is a "bucket list" thing for me. I know, Hooky isn't there anymore, but you know what, the show will go on, and I, for one, can't wait.

We intend to play more US dates later in the year.

So do you think they now fully realize a three week jaunt in the States/Canada with 10-12 dates equals $2 million plus box office. Add on merchanidise sales and you make a little mint each time you come back. If they are coming back, I hope they follow through on Bernard's prior statements and maybe play the cities they have not seen in years -- Philadelphia, Boston, etc. I would love to see them in Philly. I can hope right OMD played in Philly 2 years ago and it was their first time there in 25 years.

Someone with a big mouth cried loud to someone of the management. 🙄

Great to read about the pending Amercias' and US tour, but on the NOISE front page there are only four band members (Steve is missing) and it must be a recent picture because Barney ain't all in black ?

I know I've been away for a while, but have I missed some vital piece of news ? as even here the news does eventually get through. & no I ain't been in prison, just bogged down with life away from NOOL.

J.G.: sterling work on keeping the info flowing. Much appreciated.

He'll need a note from his parents to go on a big boys trip like Vegas!

Yes, let's hope we all get good seats or GA. Excited for Vegas, and then catching a flight to SF for OMD and Bat for Lashes, and hopefully Blur adds a show on their own, but then back to LA and driving to Santa Barbara for some more NO and Johnny! [rolling]

Santa Barbara tickets go on sale 2 March.

Further information nearer the time but all other recent NO shows in the States should provide a clue as to how this is going to work.

Update on 16 Feb: the date has moved out to 2 March & Ticketmaster is the agent.

I can't believe that Las Vegas tickets are still available... That's good, right?

I waited 30 years before seeing them for the first time last fall in Toronto. Now, I have my flights, concert tickets, and a weekend at the Cosmopolitan booked to see them again. Adding in the Vampire Weekend concert on Friday.

If anyone can suggest after-show parties, clubs, where we can keep the vibe going (okay, a bunch of 40-50-somethings reliving the '80s,,,) that would be a great idea.

Michael (Oh how I cannot bear the thought of you).

They need to come back to Chicago, they sold about 4,000 tickets in <30 minutes for the October show!

Everyone get sorted?

Leggy, Sandra, Hacienda Must Be Rebuilt, me & Fac 51 all got GA tickets. Can't believe that went so smoothely, after the LA & Oakland debacles, it was painless.

Who else is coming to this?

Vegas is selling well but there are still tickets available.

The Cosmopolitan is putting on a load of bands in April, who are all out there doing Coachella, New Order are the best seller so far.

Hey Johnny,

We are still trying to score tics for SB. Can't believe I missed the pre-sale. Now it's just Section G.

I predict this forum will be down for the duration of U.S. gigs again like last time and no one would be able to meet each other, due to the total collapse of NOOL communication
