Following on from the October sell out tour of North America.....

April 11 - Las Vegas + Johnny Marr April 13 - Coachella April 18 - Santa Barbara + Johnny Marr April 20 - Coachella

It should be Marr supporting New Order, not the other way round.It's bad enough with Re:Order always supporting The Smyths but this going too far now.

er, or is he actually in fact supporting NO? If so that's fine then [:)]

This info shouldn't really have come out. Marr tweeted it a few hours ago which as the support act....shouldn't really happen that way around. Anyways his tweet has now been deleted but genie is already out of the bottle.

I'm not expecting that - too obvious.

Can't see it as part of a NO set. They've never played other Bernard tracks in a NO set, well apart from JD obvs. Best chance might be at Coachella, during Marr's turn, rather than Bernard coming on during his own support act.

Marr did say in one of his many interviews he was working up Forbidden City for his live show, since he played a big hand in writing that one.

I'll assume for now that this little run is not leaving CA to hit any other stops. Would love it if they hit a few cities they missed in October -- Houston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Montreal would all be nice.

I suspect they're in the running to headline the second or third night at Coachella as well.

Basically, the article is about all the bands that are playing Coachella that are also playing at the Cosmopolitan hotel here in Vegas.

Since the Las Vegas date (and Santa Barbara) hasn't been formally announced by NO doesn't it stand that no one has a password yet?!?!

Vegas show on venue and ticket vendor sites. I wouldn't count on the New Order site for up-to-the-minute updates.

I went to Roseland with the idea that it would probably be my last chance to see NO. And now they're touring with Johnny Marr, and if they're only doing Western US dates, then I get to drop some $$$ on airfare and hotel too.

The official New Order twitter account confirmed the show yesterday and posted a link to Ticketmaster.

It's from that link that we can see there's a presale. Just no code!
