£11.50 to park the car.. they can fcuk right off. Or £60 fine off the filth for parking on grass verge (which a mate got couple yrs back for the Flaming lips gig). Taking the piss big style. And im a fcuking scientist!
Looks like im watching the gig with Johhny n Mike in the tent on live link-up.
Dissapointing.![]()
I wouldn't mind if the support was half decent but Johnny Marr...please. Saw him last week in York. He was as shit as he was 10 yrs ago with the healers. the guy cannot sing (worse than Monkey man).![]()

too good not to share
but thanks anyway!
Last time I went to Jodrell Bank was on a junior school trip. Could've heard a gig there from my back yard in those days.
Stopping in Macc for a quick get away on Monday morning. See you at the hotel Gaz.
Was listening to Hot Vestry - great name btw - on my way into work this morning. Pretty good, reminded me of early period Simple Minds. They're a four piece, 3 lads with Tilly on keys. Like mother, like...
Check them out on Sound Cloud, they've got 5 tracks up.
I'll be getting in early to see them.
the public transport geek in me wants to get there and back the same day , via Goostrey, but heavy drinking, new order and country lanes don't mix, so a b+b looks likely. where's nearer to stagger, Alderley Edge, Homes Chapel or macc?

seems noolers are split between leafy ald edge and macc town. i've booked a 7 seater taxi to and from for self and any others interested on the day. B&B in Macc booked.

Nice one Mark, are you there on the Sat as well?
Apart from stay in,what is there to do in Macc on a Sat night?

We're (myself and JG) in the Travel Lodge at Macc Central
Is Wilmslow fairly near? Got friends of the family there that we haven't visited since about 1978, maybe i'll look em up![]()

Possibility...has it got a bar?
We stayed at Cranage Hall last summer for Weller (which was cancelled). It's a lovely hotel, just a few miles away. Alderley Edge is better for bars but I'm going in early so it doesn't really matter. I noticed a caravan park on the map and thought an 8 berth could be fun, but it's a private park.
