Just got back to the local after the gig.
Fuck me, that was immense.
I'm lucky to have seen Neworder plenty of times but that was fantastic.
Need s beer, 'scuse me...

I totally agree. As usual Temptation got the maddest reaction.
Bonus to see Bernard singing Running out of Luck with Jake Evans as well :)
Over time, I've become less fond of Crystal & if pushed, would have nominated it to be dropped (in the other thread) - but they absolutely smashed it last night.
Awesome night, fantastic atmosphere and great craic with some quality people. Band pretty good too!

I have to agree, it was a great gig last night, although I'm not keen on watching New Order whilst sober if I'm honest! (I had to drive over to Liverpool last night.)
Looking forward even more to Manchester now but definitely need to have a few drinks there :-)
I had to drive but managed to park opposite the venue I went to the pub over the road, good scouse welcome in there. Great great night, came out drenched. As not drinking managed to get a decent spot near the front in the centre. Agreed great bonus to get Bernard singing with jake on BL track, great version. Love the wftsc version, and BLT. Shame la roux wasn't there for Tutti Fruitti and POTHL, had to rely on the backing track. Lonesome tonight excellent it would be nice if they unearth another track they've not played in a while for the Manchester gig.
Thought I was getting sick of BM but enjoyed it last night. Wish they had a NO encore rather than the Atomsphere and LWTUA. But then again noticed some people rush to the frontbfor these tracks so some people are still wanting the JD tracks.
Can't wait for Manchester on the 5th, the wife's joining me on that one and got a hotel so can truly wrecked for this occasion.
Best I've heard jake sound as well was worried after a great DJ set a bit of twangy guitar may bring the mood down but he put in a top performance.

Sounds like it was a great night in a great venue. The gig was unusual for NO these days in the fact it was on a weekend night.Think Bernard or/and the others have stated in the past they like family time at the weekends now which means most of their gigs are during the week these days. With a gig in Liverpool not that far from home they maybe mixed both. There is of course the Manchester gigs coming up on a Saturday and Sunday but that of course is even closer to home so they can do the family thing to an extent and still do the gigs.
i had a very good day and night liverpool
probably started drinking too early because i can't remember a great deal abut the gig,but i remember enjoying it!
the new order karaoke in the pub across the road afterwards was superb too!
