Mike
Hong Kong is 8 hours ahead and New Order on at 21:30pm so 13:30pm here
Enjoy !
On the Harbourflap stage. I was hoping they would be on the Your Mum stage! Who came up with these names?
Ah bugger i'd promised me mum i'd come round for sunday dinner at 1pm.Maybe i'll watch it at the dinner table though she's not in to NO's music.
Thanks for the heads up on this Mike
I may be able to record this.
Have got the HarbourFlap stage stream up on YouTube on my tv and can record to my laptop using my VHS/TV /DVD/TV Box to digital kit

Stream on tv is constantly jittery, not sure it's worth recording.Maybe won't bother
Unless it sorts itself out by the time NO are on.
Couldn't stream using the YouTube app built in to TV. Was able to stream to TV using Xbox YouTube app.
Tuned in midway through Tutti Frutti. They then moved on to Bizarre Love Triangle so clearly a shorter set.

At least it's not YouMumsFlaps
Watched whole gig on the YouTube stream on my phone when was round at my mum's.Good quality stream.Got home just now and i've managed to record it from the tv but the quality is dreadful- jittery and keeps pausing and the picture is shite, it's basically totally unwatchable.Oh well, maybe the Clockenflap festival will stick the gig up on repeat later on and i can try and capture it again properly .
Gig looked ok, if a little sterile from what i could see watching the stream. They did Crystal instead of AOC and they dropped 586, People On The High Line and Atmosphere.
The site looked like it was next to Hong Kong harbour hence Bernard sang on Blue Monday "I see a ship in the harbour, actually i really can"
Bizarre Love Triangle and WFTSC were amazing.Really think the Planet Funk mix of WFTSC works brilliantly live though i've seen that others are not so keen on it.

Also, was it my imagination, or did he sing "...brown eyes" during Temptation?

My best mate in the early 80's (who was into big hair mega groups) used to sing: "....oh you've got black eyes" and would generally take the proverbial out of this relatively obscure band that I followed. Another mate in the late 80's (who was also into big hair mega groups of the heavy rock variety) would also do the same.
Decades later they both tracked me down on Facebook and confess that they finally got into New Order and bought just about everything they had ever done.
They have both since had a haircut, as well ![]()
