Awesome. MIF in Turin. I missed NO in Italy circa Sirens which was a shame cos Hooky was still in the band AND they brought back Everything's Gangrene. I've never actually seen a NO gig, just Electronic once and the Light 6 / 7 times. So argued likesome good news orderly for winter barn? Yes laugh song lyric of ours like then but not captain hook with lightness now. or burns! much lots happy divided as Tomecat and Filled It from 6 nearly annals, willingness time eight party tricks, manchester many popular with chickens at rooster timings. We not see the hour per gigs in kingdom of unions, American South North statuses as well too though. the fortune good, shit shit shit, us see at those time fans! (Googletranslate)

You're in for a treat Michael. The gigs are brilliant. Nice to see they're taking them elsewhere.

What I'd reallly like is for them to do a sequel, so to speak. Let's have new versions of Everything's Gone Green, Hurt and Chosen Time. 😊

Yeah! This is like 1998, when they finally started digging out oldies-but-goldies instead of repeating the same stuff again and again... Bet you never thought I'd say anything positive! And I'm not even being sarcastic this time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_i3puuhDS2E

It's a big place, it won't be secret. Look out for some news in the new year (probably).

Well, I take it the gigs were cancelled or maybe I’ve misunderstood and weren’t going to happen anyway. Can’t find out anything about last nights gig, if indeed there was a gig, no set list, nothing. All very odd.

I looked to buy tickets for this, and there was fuck all information about it, even on the official website.

Weird that there hasn't even been any information if it was cancelled. I just put it down to the Italian way of doing things ;-)

"OGR Torino announces an exciting new relationship with Manchester International Festival (MIF) with ∑(No,12k,Lg,17Ogr) New Order + Liam Gillick: So it goes.. This remarkable project, seen at MIF this summer, will have its Italian premiere at OGR.New Order will take over OGR for a special show, created in collaboration with two close associates: visual artist Liam Gillick, who has previously presented solo exhibitions at venues such as Tate Britain and MoMA in New York, and who has co-curated the inaugural exhibition of OGR, Like a Moth to a Flame, and composer-arranger Joe Duddell."

That seems a fairly concrete announcement that New Order will play their So It Goes with Liam Gillick show in Turin to me.Except , er, somewhere along the line they decided not to bother and decided not to bother telling anyone they couldn't be bothered.Sorry, am i missing something here? Good job i never booked a flight and accomadation.

Yeah, the official line was they'd bring the show to Turin for OGR on '6 or 7 December but the exact date is still to be confirmed.' I was checking regularly but it never was so I can only imagine it was cancelled and they cun't be arsed to tell anyone. Awesome. Still, I'm sure this fantabulous new box set they're working their bollocks off on will make up for it. A dead cert. They just don't give a fuck, do they?

It'll be next year, fear not.

The box set(s) are happening too (starting next year).

I see these rumoured box sets in a similar light to the FAC1 poster..... ie, I suspect they will be released the week after the last NewOrder fan passes away......

Anyone know how/where you can actually get tickets for this show? Everything on that site except a link to book tickets, and it looks like there isn't an Italian Ticketmaster either. Haven't been to Turin for a good few years but its pretty easy(ish) for me to get to

So, I managed to secure tickets for this & was excited at the prospect of a weekend in Europe to watch NO MIF again ..... last years Granada Studios gig was fabulous!

........ I even paid extra for the 'Fans Tickets' to be UPS delivered across Europe to me!

Tickets arrived today ...... unfortunately, in the meantime, something unavoidable came up meaning I'm not going to be able to make the trip.

Anyone interested in the tickets at the price they cost me?? Would love for them to go to someone on NOOL for them to go revel in the wonder that is NO MIF

After the initial apparent shroud of vagueness/lack of confirmation over this Turin gig (see what i did there etc) in the end i forgot all about it til today.Dream Attack... cool, did they do that at the gigs last summer? Can't remember now.Saw a clip online somewhere of the band meeting the Italian guy who did the Tutti Frutti voice.

Like many on here, I was blown away by the Manchester shows, but I am still puzzled by the inclusion of Who's Joe? and Behind Closed Doors.

With that synth orchestra (and Gillian, AND sequencers), This Time of Night, Everything's Gone Green, Every Second Counts, Thieves Like Us or even bloody Fine Time would have made more sense. But hey, what the fuck do I know?
