wow really nice dates, playing in places they haven't played in a while, hopefully they play something new.

I'll be at Long Beach! Anyone else going?

Cleveland is on my birthday, and also 31 years on from my favorite bootleg (Chapter III).

I was hoping for a non-festival Cali date. If that doesn't materialize, I'll probably go to Long Beach.

Never been to Hawaii, though...

The one day pass was only about $80, and I'm staying with a friend who literally lives across the street from the park.

I consider all those other bands to be opening acts. :)

From the New Order twitter feed:

Join us at The Anthem in Washington D.C. You can get tickets on presale right now using the code 'mojito’. https://ticketf.ly/2I4sRNR I believe it is the same code for T.O. as well.

^ Mmm yummy. When's the last time they did Subculture? Now if they could just drop Superheated...

Here's some pre-gig pics (click on them for a better view):

Well they did sub culture last year at the MIF thing . But that was with the synth orchestra.

Sub-Culture and Vanishing Point were also done at the Hollywood Bowl last year. Easily the best post-Hooky gig I've seen.

Regret replaced Who's Joe?

Good choice.

Superheated returns while Dream Attack disappears. Hmmm.

On one hand, I'm pleased they're changing the set up. On the other, we need more Technique tracks, not fewer.

... i really wish someone would write a in-depth article or film a video about the synth orchestra. basically a who plays what kind of thing to give us a better idea how the show actually works. would be nice to have an interview with one of the synth players discussing their role in the performance.

We like to complain.

But here's a review from last nights show in a place that hadn't seen the band in a while: St.PaulReview

Well, i would think and hope there'll be some stuff about the synth orchestra in the upcoming documentary aired next month. You kind of feel there should be some interviews with one or two of the orchestra and the parts they play as the doc , i get the impression, centres around how the MIF shows were put together and put into practice.I'm particularly hopeful there'll be great footage and/or interviews with the girls far left and far right on the bottom row behind the slats, those two that were doing all the dancing.
