I asked and no one responded. Since no one asked me, I'll respond.
I personally don't believe the tour announcement of 8 gigs is a typo. I find it peculiar that at the SXSW Festival, they were described as ambassadors of the Beyond the Music Festival, yet aren't going to perform at it. And the festival begins just a few days after the tour wraps up in Leeds. Fishy...

If memory serves me right they said finsbury park was their only uk gig of 2002...then added move but said that was a festival not a gig
On the beyond the music twitter page they even have a pic of NO on the link for tickets tweet...i also think they'll be playing it

The recent North American dates were centered around their SXSW Festival gig, yet their promotion of that tour didn't include it: NewOrder.com
I was thinking they figured the SXSW show would take care of itself, saleswise. Better to focus on making the dates that were squarely on their shoulders a success.
