I'm not sure i'd go that far, but it was pretty good. ![]()
yeah i think with a full job done on it it would be better, i liked the guitars on it and it really gets going towards the end, but saying that i havent listened to the original for a bit. still, the best of the sesh so far i'm sure you'll agree.
me too, but i think that's the same for most people. i think i'm gonna go and listen to the original now to see if i still prefer the newie.
Like it a lot too: me thinks however they should have left those gimmicky syn-drums off it this time. It's not the
eighties anymore...... Still. the best track I've heard on the show yet.

hmmm....not so sure now!
thank you thank you!!!
thanks Nic for putting the songs up right away! Please let us know when you get new copy of Slow Jam and Close Range!
I'm so looking forward to Rock the Shack. I think it will be much better with just Barney singing.

had a wee giggle when i heard those syndrums...personally, though i`m quite fond of them. anyway its always lovely to hear ysf, its a beauty.
Thank you for putting this song up so fast! Great version! I think the "gimicky drums" are essential to the foundation of this track. I really enjoy the sequenced drums. If there is anything wrong with this version, I would say it's the guitar at the end. New Order have filled up their ambient space with guitar more with Get Ready album and live material. I enjoy a little space in my music. Room for the synth, bass, drums and melodica to float and interweave. The guitar isn't bad, it's just unnecessary. I can't wait until Gillian returns and Phil takes a break.
This version of Your Silent Face begs to be released. Perhaps a double single with a redone All Day Long.
