After Terry Mason was relieved by Robert Gretton of his managerial duties in Aprilish 1978, he was obviously around for the rest of the band's span, but in what capacity?

Was he "promoted" to roadie, or was he just still hanging around? He was hurt in that big fracas at the April 8, 1980 show, according to Debbie Curtis. He was also made Ian's "minder" by Gretton. So was he officially employed by Joy Division in some capacity or just around all the time?

He was a roadie at the beginning and later became their road manager(a kind of general co-ordinator for shows and tours,oh my fu**** english) He came with the band to Brazil in 1988

Sorry for putting this here David but...

I think her name is Jane. She was here in Brazil in 1988 and we can also see her in Mountreax Jazz Festival 1993 Video. She was a New Order roadie and maybe an ex-Hooky girlfriend. Any information encyclopedias?

Jane would be a groupie not a roadie. Roadies put their backs into their work. Groupies lay on their backs for work.

"Terry Feedback" became JD's soundboard man - immortalised by Curtis on the Paradiso bootleg "turn the foldback up Terry please". He was still involved with New Order until at least 1986 - I have an interview with him from San Diego on the 1986 tour that is quite interesting - I'll dig it out and upload it to my webspace if anyone is interested.

There's an interesting "Terry Mason bashing thread" here.

This is Terry in 1969. It's a detail of that Salford Grammar School picture kindly provided by Chris Brogan. Where has he been, by the way?

Nice analogy. However, she was Hooky's bass roadie.
