Rare Ikon Video?

I went to one of the Factory nights at Hammersmith Riverside in 84. I remember Section 25 on that night. In the foyer, their was a number of items of memorabilia for sale (Hacienda badges, books of matches etc) Two video tapes caught my attention, I was told that Tony Wilson had two of them made to sell that evening. I bought one for £10. No cover, It has a white label with the Icon stamp over it. Hand written over the stamp 'Kalima', Marcel King, The Wake & New Order.

Couldn't wait to get home to watch it. It has a promo for Kalima's ???? hour, Marcel King 'Reach Out For Love' filmed during the Tube at the Hacienda event. Talk About The Past promo by The Wake,and finally, New Order 'Thieves' from the Hacienda. This was the same footage as later shown on Play At Home. If Mr Sultan want's to make me an offer, get in touch. If not, I may take a Justice League toy from Elazaro! Goodnight

Hi Mark, yeh, you won't find it in the discographies as I think it was a hastily produced promo. I'm not sure but I think both of the Kalima and Wake tracks ended up on 'Shorts'. The New Order track was exclusive for a while until it was shown on 'Play At Home'. An unusual item and I wouldn't part with it.
