I'm off to Brighton for the weekend (well, its a better option than Grimsby away on a Friday night) and was wondering whether anyone new of any decent Bars/Clubs and/or restuarants in the town?

Cheers.

Well what do you know, my home is being invaded by NO fans this weekend, I know Liv is staying in town this weekend as well, anyone else?

if you want food, go to the lanes or preston street, (preston street is like the united nations) its got restaurants of all nationalities and most of them open until 2 - 3 in the morning. A great fish restaurant is Loch Fyne in Western Road. 24 hour grub is at buddies on the sea front next to the metropole, or at the 24 hour greasy spoon just off the old steine (near the pavilion)

The best staight clubs are down in the arches, (under the prom on the beach itself almost)the Beach, the Honey club. etc.

Just mentioning New order here to avoid getting a locked thread!

Cheesy gay can be found at The Revenge, cattle market gay can be found at Pool, opposite the pier.

Avoid the Event and the Paradox, unless you are a boy racer from the nearby slut huts or have white stillettos.

Hove dog track is quite a laugh to start off the evening, I think Liv is actually racing this weekend! *help* Don't batter me Liv I'm only little!

For pubs, try the Regency Tavern, behind the shopping center, just for the laugh at the decor, (a mirrored gents complete with mirror ball!) The lanes is probably your best bet for decent pubs/bars though! (but avoid this area with the missus in daylight hours....pricey, pricey clothes shops)

A really good thai restaurant can be found above a pub called the pond, but you'll need a cab to get there because its hidden. My favourite restaurants are Browns and The Strand, both are relaxed atmosphere but great food.

If there is a group of you try Ipanema, cos things usually kicks off there on a saturday night, plate smashing and dancing on tables and chairs etc!

If lap dancing is your thing, try pussycats at hove!

If you need to know anymore email me and I will get back to you. If you haven't got a room sorted yet, you'll need to hurry because the hotels are always fully booked at the weekend.

Chris P, you short arsed git, are you gonna venture over at the week end? You may get to see those breasts!

You could always call in at Withdean Stadium in the afternoon and watch a decent team play....

If you are coming by train, expect delays between Haywards Heath and Brighton. Major engineering.
