True Faith was released as a CDV single originally.
There is an Austrian import of EGG:

And I don't see BM 88 or 95 in your list.
well, that EGG is rare! edited by Factory Benelux but made in Austria! somebody please tell Factory that Austria is not a member of Benelux! :D

Factory Benelux was/is the french wing of Factory Records, am i right in thinking this Alejo? well, no. in fact Benelux is made by Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. it was an agreement between these countries about commercialism of products and free transit mostly. now with the European Community i guess now is useless.
There are a couple of True Faith 2001 promo CD singles (very pricey) including various remixes by Morel and Philip Steir.
Also WIM 2002 and Confusion '02.
Did you know that the first 6 releases on Factory Benelux also doubled up as releases on Les Disques du Crepuscule?

Thanx Kevin and Alejo for clearing that up for me, much appreciated.
There's a hard to find Canadian CD Single of that 1981-1982 EP also, which features the full-length Temptation and Hurt 12" mixes as well as three tracks from 'Everything's Gone Green'.

can't be all that rare...I've got it on CD and vinyl...
i could actually shop for the lowest price and best condition vinyl 81-82EP. the cd is harder to find but i found one used for less than 8 bucks. i used to see it everywhere so it can't be that rare, just out of print.
Hi
FACTUS8 got realeased in Canada as PIP313 on CD - I'm not sure about it's name as was stolen from my car in 1998. I was working in a record shop at the time I got it (1994) and was really stoked to get a copy. It has the original 12" version of Temptation on it.
I'm still (to use a New Zealand term) gutted about loosing it as I've not seen it since.

FEP313 didn't make it out of North America in vast quantities, so it's rare this side of the pond. Probably ten a penny over there.

Yes it is nice! My very first New Order CD which I stumbled upon in HMV in Edinburgh way back in the late 80s![]()

It stayed in print because it's considered an album.
The rarer CD singles from Canada would be Blue Monday 1988 (5 tracks), Fine Time (5 tracks), Round & Round (5 tracks)and the 1990 release of World in Motion (6 tracks).

Considering I have all those, what do I win? :D
Altough I think my Fine Time is from the US.. as I don't have Fine Line on it.
"Fine Line" isn't on the UK CDS either. Actually, does anyone have an official CD with Fine Line on it?

It's on the Canadian one...

Classic this one...i own it too.Was it a PROMO or normal release.I have several PROMO singles of RUINED in different sleeves. The WEATHERALL REGRET from FRANCE is good too. Some of the USA PROMS's have not got covers but are well worth owning. Cheers ROCKET MICK
Cheers, off to find a Canadian copy to buy shortly!! Did someone mention HMV Canada?
I notice that a lot of the recent promo CDSs are only one track (1963, True Faith '94, all the singles off Get Ready, Here To Stay). Just thought I'd mention it.

FACTUS 8, great ep that, still love listening to it. Has this ever been released on CD?

It's on the Canadian one...
Also found on the Canadian CD singles:
Touched by the Hand of Dub Blue Monday 1988 Dub Version (aka DJ Only Mix, not Beach Buggy) Best & Marsh (full version, not the edit) World in Motion Carabinieri Mix World in Motion Subbuteo Dub Mix
I also have a strange 2 track (for juke boxes?) CD single of Regret/Confusion 1987.
Oh, those rarities, don't ya just love 'em. But how many people have the "Radio Edit" of 'Regret' (different from the album version but, ironically, never heard on the radio).
More to the point, why was the 12 Inch mix of 'Fine Time' never released on CD... And don't tell me it's on Technique, because there is a difference I've proved before!
If you get the Japanese 3 inch CD single of 'Touched By The Hand Of God', you can get the seven inch edit of 'Touched By The Hand Of Dub' in a digital format, same goes for the Japanese 5 Inch CD of 'Blue Monday 1988' and the seven inch edit of 'Beach Buggy'.
All these rare tracks, and fitting that I'm mucking around with Sound Forge and CD Architect right now, making my own little 'Retro' rehash to collect many of them!
Andy.

Okay, there were two 'Touched' Japanese CD Singles. It's simple really: one was a three incher and had the two tracks on the seven inch, one was a five inch CD with the two twelve inch mixes. The little'un was the only place to get the 'dub' seven inch mix on CD.
As for 'Regret', there's lots of mislabelling of the album version (7" Mix/Radio Mix, etc), but one promo has a "Radio Edit" and "7 Inch Version" - the 'radio edit' is slightly short at the start and end. Probably Mr Hague in the studio paying a little too much attention to detail, and knocking out shorter seven inch mixes that differ to the album versions, along with Ruined, World and Spooky. Hell, he probably did radio edits of every damn track on Republic, for all we know.
Andy.

Right well i own the 3 inch one so i have this different one.As for REGRET i don't think i have this.It is a GERMAN 2 track CARD sleeve one that i was thinking about! Regards ROCKET MICK

Good luck with finding it, Nic - if you find a couple of '1981-82' on CD, put 'em on e-bay and sell 'em for a fortune! :D
Me? I got it when it came out, although there's not that many out there nowadays...
l8rs,
Nick :)

Isn't the only difference that warped quitar bit at 1:20 that sounds like a mistake?
Yep. Bet the band never even noticed! Probably an earlier mix done in the studio before they decided which one went on the album!
