Elegia is a fairly long track on LowLife, more so on the Retro bonus disc - is it too long?

I'd be happy with a variation that lasted as long as the Saville soundtrack - what does everyone else think?

If anyone believes that Elegia is too long, then they must be half asleep after listening to TPK

It's fooking awesome is what it is. Maybe shouldn't have been stuck in the middle of the album, though. Seems a bit outta place.

i Love the 17 minute version of Elegia, it's the only reason i bought Retro. {Stuff all else of interest on that box set.)

Return of the polls, about time ;)

Love this track, and I find it a good adventure, to listen to the track intently for the full 17+ minutes without skipping or fastforwarding. It's almost like they recoreded it saying "Fookin 'ell, they loved Blue Monday at 7.5 minutes, let's make this two and a half times longer! :evil4: ".

Far too bloody long - it's crap anyway, and 16+ minutes of the same thing looping round is just tedious in the extreme. Wouldn't have been so bad if it changed a bit partway through and did something different.

I like the lost 17 minute version. It should have been put on Low-Life. The full version of TPK should have been on Low-Life too. My only problem is that I have listened to it too much once Retro came out, Eligia being on it 3 times.

Too long IMHO.LOW LIFE one is the better of the two versions.
