Ruined In A Day - The Limited Edition

Does anyone have the "Ruined In A Day" gatefold CD single with "The Limited Edition" printed on the top of the front cover? Catalogue Number INT 857217.2 It contains the following mixes... The Sly & Robbie Radio Edit The 12" Boggle Mix The Dance Hall Groove Rhythm Twins Dubs The Live Mix

All of which are crap. Just wondered if it was indeed "limited" as the title suggests. How many millions of copies of this were produced? The gatefold pack has a second slot for the original “Ruined In a Day” CD single. I can see it in the Discography section. Got mine in the UK on visit during 1993.

Awful, awful, terrible mixes. They're all virtually exactly the same, being all but impossible to tell apart. I've probably only ever played that CD once.

I remember it being pretty widely available at the time.

Trouble is, those mixes (sorry, that mix - all five are exactly the same) are meant to be "Dancehall" versions, but it's not even a good example of Dancehall - just a very poor mix of a song Sly & Robbie probably didn't even like.

This is why cleaning up your CDs with peroxyd is a bad idea.

I had that CD and it's from old fame that I sold it to N21, the french user on this site. Still think I robbed him. :D

Every time there is a topic about that release, You pop up and masturbate in front of everyone on how good it was to seel me that CD. I needed it for my collection. I am pleased you sold it, the transaction makes us happy. The product in itself is nice, it's the music that is the source of the problem.

Mine are also decolourating (if that is indeed the word!). I think we should group together and demand a replacement from London Records. Perhaps a Hacienda Xmas Flexi would do? They might be able to get a few copies from Barney.
