So there you go, New Order had SO many singles since Substance (that of course featured the second CD with a selection of b-sides on it) - and between them they featured less than 10 original tracks. Hmm...

Nonetheless, here they are, I hope I haven't missed anything (I don't include Temptation'98 in the poll for obvious reasons).

What do you say? :)

"Let's Go" (from Salvation and 1963)

"Vicious Circle" (from Ruined In A Day)

"The Happy One" (from Substance Video)

That's actually a much huger 15 tracks then:rolleyes:

Blimey, that's a really poor collection of tracks, isn't it?

Toss up between Don't Do It and Brutal - the former gets it (I always thought that would've made a great opener for a gig).

Such a Good Thing takes the cake for me; it is a light-hearted song that makes me fool good for hours, but listening to it more than once a day will annoy anyone

Since "Vicious Circle" isn't a choice, I go with "Don't Do It." :thumb:

Straight fight between Brutal & DDI with passing nods to B&M and MTO.

Don't Do It gets the vote & I like Al's idea. They could also play "the Happy One" post gig as the lights go up & everyone shuffles off to buy snide TShirts ;)

They used to start their sets with another instrumental, Let's Go in the 80's.

Well, I know that Let's Go was on Salvation as well, but then again it appeared on (the best of) and can probably considered... e-e-eh... an album track on that very compilation  (bad excuse for not including, I know, however Let's Go would have been a winner by a mile surely, had it been in the poll options ;)). The other two - sorry, my fault... :\oops:

Can someone tell me where I can find 'Dont Do It'

At the moment I have to go with Sabotage.

Sublime song:nod:

Don't Do It was the B-side of Fine Time.

My vote went to SAGT. I first heard it when I got Retro about a week before I bought my Jag.:love2:

a close one between Sabotage, Vicious Circle and Don´t Do It. but Sabotage is the only one who could´ve fit very well in an album. the other were meant to be B sides IMHO.

Vietnam :p

Seriously, Don't Do It is brilliant, please let them put some instrumentals on this album, rather than more "Slow Jams"

Player In The League...

Don't ask me why, I just love this tune...

I vote for Best and Marsh, pretty underrated and forgotten one that is, but I like Don't Do It lots too - it's almost like a more sinister Kraftwerk. MTO is boring though - no tune, no purpose, just some offcuts set to a boring house beat. Even the Other Two made better instrumentals than that one.

I voted for Brutal, because it was the song that pretty much introduced me to New Order a while ago (I know it's not the best introduction one might have had, but it worked for me nonetheless).

From the list I'd go with Brutal as it could have been a pretty good single. However I'd add The Peter Saville Show as I've been listening to that heaps recently.

This is really tough. Skullcrusher was a great live track nearly 20 years ago (!), but the KP vote goes to "Such A Good Thing", which is indeed as its name suggests. Great upbeat poppy NO guitar classic sound, that only had bad press on here from plastic Scots who weren't at the World Cup :evil4:

At thr moment i have to go with VIETNAM.Seriously it is the only one of this lot i have listened to in the last 3 months. But one or two good tracks here ,a blast from the past with some.Must give thema listen to and try to remember JUST what they mean to me now. Cheers ROCKET MICK

Hey, best non-album track...? WHERE is World In Motion??? Ah, I see, Mr Carbohydrate, you left this for the "worst non-album track" poll!

Sabotage. But not exactly a classic selection.

I'm pleased to see "DDI" doing so well in this poll, it's one of my favourites.

I'm afraid that I dislike "Such A Good Thing" almost as much as "Slow Jam". Possibly the worst things they ever did (so far...) IMHO.

Let's have more scary instrumentals! And less crap lyrics!

Dont Do It is the b-side to Fine Time. Its a cracking tune, very dramatic and melodic. It got my vote. However, Player In The League is pretty cool too.

I agree that Slow Jam is god awful, but Such a Good Thing is a great tune, or maybe it's a great song when I compare it to World in Motion, and it's mix, on the World in Motion single

I hate polls like this when you have to vote for your favourite NO track, i like them all. I voted for Brutal because it was their first new song in eight years and it was great to hear they still had talent left in them.
