In search of Stevie Dale

Does anyone know if this is the Stevie Dale Steve is nicknamed after? Perhaps its my imagination but i can see a resemblance :d

Stephen Morris was / is not knicknamed Stevie Dale, and whoever put that in the FAQ wants shooting.

Stevie Dale refers, of course, to Steven Brotherdale who drummed with the band for about 3 months before Mr Morris joined.

i was confused by that myself, brotherdale, dale, i made the association but dismissed it.

You should read more about Joy Division instead of wasting your time with The Cure
