This one passed me by without incident, suffice to say. Not much to report. They came and they went with little happening. Been on the sauce for a good 7hrs before the gig too, so the Mrs sat on the stage for most of their performance, then fell asleep against a speaker! Shortened set, and the band were due to come back on for Si Firmi but when they wandered back out James Lavelle got himself in the groove and you could see them all visibly register, "Oh fcuk this then," and they just walked off the stage again. Few NOOLers there - the German Order(x3), me, Johnny G, Mickey Way and Ness. Plus the likes of Gordie and Mike, who a lot of people know from here, and the usual partners and mates and what-have-you so a cracking night all in all with a good bunch of faces, but perhaps a little 'messy' for some of us, if you catch my drift.
Took the German Order up to Luton-POSH today, which perhaps weren't such a good idea after all. .. . .
Anyways, setlist was -
Forced Laugh Do The Du Shack Up Wild Party Starlight Turn Me On WSLY Wannabe Good Together Si Firmi (listed, but never happened)..
One thing though, watched Force Laugh on one of the Factory IKON vids this morning and can't help but think Jez Kerr looks YOUNGER today than he did 20 years ago!
Oh, and who was it that walked out with Denise Johnson's tambourine? (clue: it wasnae me!)... ;)
