Personnally, I've dreamt of New Order quite a few times over the years.
Dreamt that I saw them live, dreamt that I met them and told them why I loves them so much.
Always in very weird contexts...

Geoff, I'm with you on that one!! Dreaming of meeting them that is... A mate of mine used to see Barney in the Hac completely trashed all the time, which I think added fuel to the fire.
during my all too recent finals i had some very strange dreams, several of which included the presence of no/jd. in the one i can remember most clearly, i took some of my mates back to my primary school only to find on arrival, that joy division were playing a set during the school assembly. you can imagine the scene; frightened 5 year olds screaming at the sight of a manic ian, while my friends try to calm them down and strangest of all, bernard trying to play the guitar, synths and 2 giant gongs (diameter of about 7 feet) all at the same time.
I sure dreamed a few too many times about this damned website and having it "ready in time"...
And for the sake of it, they called their album "Get Ready"...
Why yes, I have dreamed of the order...I had one in particular where they pulled up to my house in a limo and asked me to show them around Dallas, like there is really anything much to see here...alas, that one has yet to come true...
I had a really vivid one back in 1992 or something: They were playing the G-Mex with a few shite Madchester bands, and then when they came back on stage and encored with "Ceremony" somebody shot Barney. He collapsed on the floor and Hooky ran over to take over the vocals, not giving a toss about his fallen and mortally wounded colleague. The rest of the band carried on too, as if nothing had happened. Most of the audience started crying hysterically whilst Hooky kept pounding his bass with his legs spread wide open, standing over poor Barney's (dead) body.......the sound of mass wailing soon became deafening...... Anyway, the next day, the Evening News ran a front page story on the shooting and the headline for some reason was CANDY FLIP SINGER SHOT ON STAGE. That was so surreal it was fucking scary. Surreal because I really hoped that that was true, and it wasn't Barney that got hit. 'Cos I always fucking hated Candy Flip in real life anyway.
Dream about them regularly, some bizarre, some quite mundane. Never really done the sort of meeting them dream, they just sort of fit into whatever i dream about....(Famous people make regular appearences in my dreams, had a great one about Sean Connery once...)
I once went scuba diving in a canal with Barney, and we went to a shop and tried to steal packets of crisps by stuffing them into our wet suits.....dunno what id been taking that night.
I guess it gives a clear indication about how mad i really am....

I never dreamt of meeting New Order. I think it's because I am pretty sure I would have nothing interesting to tell them. Plus, what if they turn out to be a bunch of assholes? How would I react? Would I be able after to enjoy their music as much as I do now? But I am actuallly dreaming of my trip to Paris for their show and of my possible trip to Melbourne for the BDO to see them.
I had my first NO dream only the other night. It was the first time I had seen them in concert. A friend of mine sneaked me into the concert and the next thing I knew I was playing the drums on stage.
Sad, I know.
I have dreamed I have met them a few times. Usually it's not a weird dream, i just meet them and ask them questions and stuff. I'll probably dream about it tonight now, after writing this!

Hugh, I soooooo did that too! I mentioned them in various university papers I wrote. I even remember having to write a chapter of a Mills and Boon style novel for a critical studies course and my title was "Your Silent Face" and the lead character was Barney, with other characters called Peter, Gillian and Stephen....
Sad I know, but at least it wasnt real fan fiction.....anyone ever read that one about Barney and Bobby Gillespe? Ewwww.....

OK, last night i dreamed that i was at uni and they were showing new people around and everyone stopped listening to the guide because i was watching a new order concert on my computer and the performance of 'your silent face' was so good that everyone wanted to watch it. Although i seem to remember that barney only sang the '...just silence..' bits over and over.

God! That's just hideous! Just toecurling! You've got to be a sado-masochist just to read it all! Well, I certainly didn't attempt to - just caught a few sections. But that's enough for me. I wonder if Barney and Bobby have read it?

I dreamt I was a James Bond-style secret agent/lover of fine women, with Liv on one arm and April on the other, and we were on our way to the Paradiso gig back in 1980 (time travel is always available in dreams), when we were accosted by Nazi-Commie ninjas under the direction of Blofeld. I proceeded to hand over the wheel of my Aston Martin over to April and jump into the ninjas' open convertable. Each ninja met a swift and harrowing death befitting of a cheesy spy flick, while I was able to keep my tux clean in front of an obvious matte screen. I took the wheel from the last ninja, knocked him out, and jumped from the car back into my own at the last second. The ninja I had left alive woke up in time to scream bloody murder as his car plunged off the cliff to almost certain doom. I made some wry comment about Yugoslavian cars, and April, Liv and I proceeded on to Amesterdam.
My favourite dream involved Sharon from Eastenders - with Grant and Phil trying to kick the door down That was a good few years ago though - Today I mostly dream about New Order announcing a massive UK tour;)

Nope, weighed meself yesterday. 14 st 4 lbs. Put on 2lbs over Christmas. Not that this is a personal CV site, but I have the biggest thighs you would ever see on a bloke !! :)

I know this is a funny thing to say, but how the hell do you manage to get trousers? My ex-fiance played rugby league and we couldnt get him trousers to fit for love nor money! He ended up buying ones with a huge waist and wearing a belt. he was actually rather slim, just "beefy" if you know what i mean....

That's what I do, though I did devise a clever way of economising on the belt issue by taking to the Guinness for a while. Roaring success as well, though it became a bit passe after a while :)

Strangely enough I did actually dream about New Order last night. I was onstage singing Sister Ray as an encore with them, doing my best Curtis dance impression. Fuck knows why !
Not in the slightest sir. I was on antibiotics last night, and off my head to the extent that I have no recall of any improprietous conduct at any stage.

I'm getting worried now, had another New Order-related dream last night. Wasn't playing Sister Ray on stage with them this time though. This was worse. I was in a studio in a shitty little flat town in East Germany trying to do strange and perverted things with a tape to get Barney to not sound quite so out of tune. Then there was a flash of light, and an Angel came down from Solsbury Hill and suggested we decamp to Real World Studios instead, where we cut a mix of a new song called Sloe Gin. Fuckin' rocks, I can tell you. I can't get enough of this, gonna try that Olbas Oil again t'nite :)
Oh, I'm sure NO slips into my dreams from time to time, seeing as they're one of my absolute all time faves, but I'll be damned if I can recall any particular dream at this time. Usually when I wake up, my attitude is "what freakin' day is this, and am I gonna be late for work?"
i dream of New Order Many times during many years but the last dream is recent, before the Olympia venue. it was the first time that i see them in live and i was during several weeks very disappointed... 
So , my dream was also very bizarre. i was in a gig of New Order where there was no more than two hundred persons. the concert didn't begin and Barney came to me and asked me if i could replace Gillian during the concert. I don't know play guitar or any instruments. I was afraid but i played...

So I decided to stay up and wait for him to come home, hoping for a t-shirt. I fell asleep on the couch, and woke up with a drunk dad in my face. He slurred " Guess who's here?" I said " What?" He said " New Order is here" and sure enough, Bernard comes strolling in through our front door. Then Gillian. I jump up to shake Bernard's hand not realizing I'm in my boxer shorts. Bernard just laughed, and I was embarrassed to see Gillian like this. So I ran into my room, and came out to meet Peter and Stephen . They stayed and had a drink, then went to this bar called "Out of Water" to do an appereance. What apperently happened that night was my dad had tickets next to the sound board and got to talking with OZ and OZ started feeding him Corona's, they got to be friends that night and he was introduced to the gang after the concert. and the rest is history.

Ha!! The thought of Ian Curtis 'entertaining' 5 year olds and Bernard and his gongs made me chuckle out loud!
Now that is a fantastic script for a video ! Just picture it, all these kids hypnotised by Curtis's half-komakino half-epileptic dance, Barney doing his best "The King and I" impression while Hooky menaces around the edge of the stage, occasionally taking out interlopers with a well-aimed headstock. Pure theatre !
....with Steve flailing away, and (if you are lucky) Gillian stood there like a lampshade :)

Well, he did a benefit performance on the last Bozo the Clown show (no, that's too easy a joke to make), so he's actually had experiance entertaining kids.
