So my dad went to a New Order concert here in Arizona when I was young can't remember when, but I think it was in 1986? Anyways, I was upset that my dad went ansd didn't let me go. So I decided to stay up and wait for him to come home, hoping for a t-shirt. I fell asleep on the couch, and woke up with a drunk dad in my face. He slurred " Guess who's here?" I said " What?" He said " New Order is here" and sure enough, Bernard comes strolling in through our front door. Then Gillian. I jump up to shake Bernard's hand not realizing I'm in my boxer shorts. Bernard just laughed, and I was embarrassed to see Gillian like this. So I ran into my room, and came out to meet Peter and Stephen . They stayed and had a drink, then went to this bar called "Out of Water" to do an appereance. What apperently happened that night was my dad had tickets next to the sound board and got to talking with OZ and OZ started feeding him Corona's, they got to be friends that night and he was introduced to the gang after the concert. and the rest is history.

Wow, and I tell you what.... next time you get to meet them get Barney to tell you the correct lyrics to Temptation... then you can make sure your signature line is correct....

Ha!! The thought of Ian Curtis 'entertaining' 5 year olds and Bernard and his gongs made me chuckle out loud!
Now that is a fantastic script for a video ! Just picture it, all these kids hypnotised by Curtis's half-komakino half-epileptic dance, Barney doing his best "The King and I" impression while Hooky menaces around the edge of the stage, occasionally taking out interlopers with a well-aimed headstock. Pure theatre !
....with Steve flailing away, and (if you are lucky) Gillian stood there like a lampshade :)

Well, he did a benefit performance on the last Bozo the Clown show (no, that's too easy a joke to make), so he's actually had experiance entertaining kids.
