Yes, and we are already in trouble actually -- you may not know this but Reprise Records (Warner's american label) is now boycotting us officially, and someone working in the shadows (we know who he is) has been trying everything he could to give us a bad name in New Order Management's offices.
We have absolutely no promotionnal support from Reprise Records since about two months. The alleged reason would be that we are allegedly the "source of New Order bootlegging on the Internet". When I asked for further explanations and proofs of that, all my subsequent e-mails were ignored.
We are quite frustrated by this situation and I didn't want to come out publicly with this yet, and then again I'm keeping the details to myself for better use in the future, but this is part of the reason why we have been evocating that we might simply close the website eventually.
What pissed me off tremendously is that, after working for WEEKS and full days and nights, we were told by Reprise Records' representative that we were working against' the labels and New Order's interests and harming New Order.
Now, how should we react to that?

By the way everyone, in case you didn't notice, Nicolas has added today three tracks from New Order's performance in Cologne last August, in first part of Robbie Williams: Your Silent Face, Temptation and Blue Monday. THESE ARE SOUNDBOARD RECORDINGS.
And the first two tracks are featuring some of Bernard'S funniest live comments EVER!

This is the most provocative words I've heard Bernard say to a crowd!!!
As for the rest of the show, we don't know yet. Like I said, it's a copyright issue and we're a bit unconfortable with that -- we do not think it would hurt the band in any way, but then again the laws are clear and WE DO want to be legit.

I have the full Fuji Festival in my hands, will maybe put it online, but the sound is weak compared to that.. let's say the Cologne gig is a nice one to have.
You can probably find someone to trade the gig with in our Buy/Sell/Trade forum (Cologne), we do it for free, since I think it's really illegal to sell those things...
This is absurd.
I mean, this website quite simply helps keep our flame burning.
It let us speak endlessly of our fave subject, New Order.
How could it hurt the band in any way ?!
I can understand Nic and Seb are walking a fine line here with the stuff available for download and we all know that record companies are ultimately driven by the desire to make money, so anything they might view as 'saleable' will be under threat. I just wonder how the band themselves feel about this issue! 
I can't see where the record company is coming from. We are all big fans of new order and are therefore going to buy whatever they release. I have personally bought almost everything they have ever released on every format and so i think i'm entitled to the occasional bonus live track or whatever. The amount of money i've spent on new order stuff over the years has probably sent the record company manager's kids through college! Give us a break!!
We heard Bernard's answer to Napster in the getmusic interview... :D
But I'm pretty sure we will fit one question about that in our questions to New Order :D If they don't know about the site, they will!

And if you're this hardcore, you just have to buy the records.

Je comprends la situation dans laquelle vous vous trouvez. Je peux imaginer que discuter avec les gens des maisons de disques, qui voient les dollars là où nous voyons de l'art, n'est certainement pas chose aisée et se réduit souvent à un dialogue de sourds...
Tout ce que je puis faire, c'est vous encourager à poursuivre courageusement, passionément, patiemment et prudemment votre remarquable travail!

Yes, but it won't let me do it 'for copyright reasons'???? Could you rename the file to something by New Order as, curiously, it let me download a New Order track when I was testing it to see if it would let me download anything at all. Rename it New Order - Rotten Snack, and i'll try again.
If the record label doesn't want the downloads to be available, they could sell all files in their fucking web sites and I would buy it, because I buy almost anything from New Order. Original Live Stuff available is nearly zero if you think about all the years that New Order are on the road. Keep going that way man. You have all of our support!
Message to the Official Record Label's Site: If you spend more time on it, you could become 10% of what NewOrderOnline is!
