You can see in the Media menu the "File Archives" option.. it will work, just as planned.
However, it is my goal to allow members to submit files, this is not yet done, and should be done this week-end if I can get rid of the damned flu I got.
Any suggestions welcomed, the way it's built right now, the links are direct, and everybody can see them, but however, I will modify this to work like the audio archives, so I can count the amounts of time downloaded, etc.. and secure files to members only!
I also have the ability to create a directory for specific users, which might be useful, for instance, to share the community songs for special people only.. however HTTP uploads are not very performant, so we'll have to see if this feature will be useful.. but of course, any file submission would need approuval before being posted online.
This is one thing, I'm a former pre-Internet BBS software SysOp, so I have my ideas, but I believe this will be a fun thing when it will be done...
