Stone Roses, Jimi Hendrix, World of Twist, One Dove, Andrew Weatherall all IMO achieved greatness, Albeit fleetingly, in most cases.

Absolutely loads of artists... Echoboy, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Queens Of The Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Cooper Temple Clause, ...could go on for ages.

Despite me being a New Order collector and having grown up with them, my favourite band is Arab Strap, but their six year history makes it a lot easier to track down their back catalogue.

Pavement 21 shows + 2 Stephen Malkmus solo Wilco 11 shows REM's the only other band I've seen over 10 times, but that wasn't necessarily an obsession (though I like them quite a bit). It was kind of just a cool thing to do growing up in the American south in the mid-80s.

The Cure's the other biggie for me.

Then other random ones like the Pixies, The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Faint, and on and on.

Joy Division (does it count?) + Side Projects The Cure Depeche Mode (altough not doing much recently) U2

Are the only other artists I'm collecting stuff.. so I guess bands I'm pationnate about.

My New Order passion is the only one surviving between releases, and it's 100% due to this site however... I wouldn't listen to New Order as much as I do without this website.. but what music could I listen when working on this site ;)

Well, it all really depends upon my mood, but:

The Cure The Smiths (inc. Moz, but actually like Smiths better)

After those two, it varies. Been listening to The Clash everyday lately; before that, The Real McKenzies. Depeche Mode, The Ramones, Pet Shop Boys, Siouxsie.

BT is pure genious when it comes to writing dance-music.

For the Swedes out there, Jävlaranamma is the best live-band in a crowded bar with lots of beer... :D
