Starting the NOOL 3rd year celebration... — Forum Archive

Hello everyone (it's nice to be here..)

As you might know or not know, NewOrderOnline (in its current domain name and well, "format") is going to be 3 years old, since the death of the 2 websites that were replaced by this one (my "Temptation" and N21's "The Pop Group With A Dark Past")...

Long story short (we don't want to get back there, do we?), I'm starting today the celebration of this 3rd year milestone by putting a few videos in the DivX format in the media archives of this website.

You should now be able to download:

Dreams Never End - Live Brixton Academy 87 (+ Interview) Mr Disco - Live Reading 89 Dream Attack - Live Montreux 93 The Perfect Kiss - Live Montreux 93 Crystal 60 Miles An Hour Here To Stay The Other Two - Selfish

The Get Ready videos are from the DVDs, most of you have them, but this mostly to help people unable to read PAL DVDs...

The live stuff + Selfish are MPEG from the Video Anthologies converted into DivX.

One day, I'll reencode all those files to have a better quality, however I don't have all the tapes, plus I have many material Shug sent me that could be put online.

There are more to come before December 1st, and on December 1st, the start of the 4th year of NOOL, the final round of Community will start, so you will have plently of new media to download and care about

I think I have just about evrything they've done on TV now, it's just a case of getting all the live bootlegs (and I have many of these too thanks to Jarvo and Don!)

It would be great if you could get more of the stuff I sent you onto the website....the foreign visitors would get some right treats;)

Now that you're nearly there, Shug, don't you now feel the need to own everything on DVD instead?! Just to keep up with the Joneses! Well, the Garrity's and Petrou's! I know I do! Me thinks I might be procuring a DVD/RW at some point in the next seven days!

I havn't tried yet, but what do you need to watch DivX?

And if anybody makes a dvd full of goodies (Pal or not) I will send yea some money for the blank dvd & shipping! If you will send me a copy!

DivX is just a codec, you can download it on divx.com, next any AVI player will do the job (Windows Media Player for instance)...

I've seen one at Costco last week for less than 300$ CDN, let's say I'm VERY tempted.. and the DVD are getting cheap also...

My vote goes for the Montreux 93 concert. I would love to see the whole concert. I'm guessing there is no Blue Monday or Fine time, since there were credits in Perfect kiss.

If only I had the cash Big Yin, I am helping out Peter with his collection, if you want any vids let me know :beer: No doubt I will get a DVDR in about 5 years time when the next BIG thing is starting;)
