How very nice to find more and more footage of last summers Cologne gig in the audiofiles, but the shitty thing is me no have no MPfucking3. Can't it also be put on for Real Media? please

The strange thing about these Cologne recordings is that they sound a lot better than the live sound itself...WEIRD...
You think so? I only heard 60mph so far but that was kind of a bad sound. I thought they were great in Cologne and the sound was't that bad at all.

In my case it was a combination of sunstroke, lots of german beer and even more dutch sweet mary jane that made it a memorable concert.

I've just remembered a rather amusing anecdote from this gig. As you probably now know, if you didn't get to Cologne early enough you ended up marooned about 100 yards back from the stage with lots of Robbie fans squeezed into the prime areas. Got talking to a German lad - Danny - who spotted my Area:One t-shirt and he reckoned it would be easy to 'push down the front' for New Order. I tried to bribe some security guards to let me through the barriers, to no avail, and there ended up about 12 of us Brits in a similar position, still miles back from the stage, cursing the guards (I'd offered 300Dm just to let 3 of us through and they still wouldn't have any of it - bloody German efficiency!).
Anyoo, I ran into Danny and his mate Bernard again at all 3 Brixton gigs. Turns out they HAD managed to bribe security guards at the Mungersdorfer and had been provided with the regulation pink wrist-bands to identify those 'allowed down the front'. But when they got to a second checkpoint their bands were recognised as fakes as they were promptly arrested! They ended up missing the entire NO performance bar one song - KW1 - where the police marched them back into the stadium so that they could identify the corrupt security guard who'd sold them the dodgy wrist-bands. The things some people do for New Order! Bless.
I know exactly what you mean Allen. The same shit happened to me. Surrounded by RWfans i felt like being on a island,getting funny looks every time i went beserk when recognizing yet another fine intro to a legendary NO song. And there is no way you can bribe these german whatevers to get closer to any stage.

You know that you have become a true vancouverite when you can't remember if pot is legal or not. I think it is legal in BC, practically anyway, verylittle enforcement.
